I've heard that Sydney is fast, I hope that trend continues! Good luck to us all for speedy approvals and landings. :)

Lucky you, Kingston seems to be slower than most VO.. they say 16months and I haven't even gotten to that stage yet :(

Well 20% of applications get processes in 5 months in Bogota, so I'm hoping we're in that catagory

Call CIC and they'll tell you that you've been approved.

no I am sure it is fine....you are probably stuck in Mississauga and did not get sent to Ottawa....I am sure you will hear something this week!!!!! :D
Hang in there! I sent my application of the 27th of Feb and arrived on the 29th. They sent me a AOR last Friday stating they received my app on the 19th of March 2012. Its a slow process, they will definitely have it...no doubt. Its a matter of when they get to it after all the coffee breaks they take! >:(

Great !!! Congratulations and good luck for the speedy 2nd stage !

I sent mine at exactly the same dates as yours, however mine was received a bit earlier in the same morning as yours. I didn't hear anything from them so far! Let's for it thus week!

I'm used to it. My original application (FSW) was received exactly three years ago tomorrow (June 26, 2009). Somewhere in those three years I managed to meet someone and get married (funny how life doesn't stop just because you are waiting forever). Yet my patience skills haven't gotten any better.

And yet, I read recently about a different case of one poor soul who has been waiting for his (inland) application for the past six YEARS. CIC's response to him was that this was just "normal processing delay". So it could be far worse.

A quick question for everyone

Are you using a lawyer to file the paperwork or doing it yourself? I used a lawyer and right now since the March applications are being processed, I just wanted to know who would be receiving the communication from CPC? my lawyer or myself? especially AOR, Approval etc?

Great news...Congrats!!

Hopefully someone might be looking at my file as well & will get approval soon....

I checked ECAS, I was only able to log in under my husbands name with the application #, I cannot log in with the UCI # and my name, I don't know what I am doing wrong????
All it says is application received.

6 years is a normal processing delay? Wow...welcome to the efficiency of the Canadian Gov't!!

are you using 4 numbers hypen 4 numbes 1234-5678?? With me always have to do it twice....I log in and it says UCI number not valid so I block it delete and retype exactly the same thing and then it works......
