Anyone in Canada can do it on your behalf as long as you sign the relevant release.

Thanks computergeek and Dr Eng X!

If you call that number and you tell them your file is CPP-Ottawa; they will tell you we don't have access to files processed in VO and CPP-O is a VO. My file is in CPP -O... I am very frustrated as well :(

We all are... :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

So I called CIC this morning and after 1/2 hour I got thru. They said since they have not starting working on my application yet, that is why I cannot access the ECAS even though I have a UCI and I can access my hubbys info. I did get some news that totally depressed me though, here I thought because there was an officer's name on the label when I sent back in my application, that I would not have to wait the processing time again but that is not so, I am back in line again and they are currently working on apps received July 12th and they received mine (again) September 19th.

The info they told you is wrong. You don't have to wait from the beginning, don't worry.

I truly hope so!

It takes exactly 30 calendar days. When is your husband's interview KJG?
I read some where they count the 30 days from the receipt day! Which is kind of interesting so if you mailed it and took few days to get there. Would they still send it from the day of receipt?

Hmm. Interesting thought. I'd say they would count from the date of receipt. I emailed them the scanned forms and electronic receipt, and almost immediately I received an automated AOR. 30 days later, I got the pdf.
