Its strange, I know but thats just the way it is. I have not heard anything from them. Have sent them an inquiry and is awaiting a reply. Infact, if you visit the NDVO thread, you see there are so many in the same boat. Which bring me to this question, has any March NDVO applicants got their visas yet? Anybody?

Gcms Means global case management system when u get your gcms notes you will know the actual status of ur application and also the bring forward date of ur application. I think u must apply for gcms notes.

i recommend that u apply for gcms notes through www.visafile.info they charge only 25 dollars and u can make payment through western union as well but beore sending them fee through western union you ask them the information to commit the transaction through e.mail.

Hi there!

I tell you how to order GCMS anyway. As you have a friend there it would cost you just $5.

Yes you can order CAIPS notes. Its very easy. It can be done by email.

First fill this form, your (friend) requester will sign it.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf

then fill this consent form and sign yourself

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5475E.pdf

If you want to pay by credit card fill your card no and sign. If your friend will pay for it he will provide his card details and sign

You can't find credit card form online. Please provide your email address and I will email you.

Ask your friend to provide his Canadian passport /PR card and his recent bill / bank statement as a proof that he is currently living in Canada.

Scan everything and ask him to send everything by email to

atip-aiprp @ cic.gc.ca

there is no harm to getting this note.
Thanks

Dear Kalimorian and naveed bhai thanx for ur quick and detailed response. My elder brother and his family are in Canada as Permanent Residents. I will discuss with him and once I get time from my tough job, I will apply for it. But I am a bit worried if there is any harm, I mean is it secure or not?

Don't worry bro there is no harm of applying for gcms notes.Everyone applies for gcms notes if his application is taking too much time to process and it is better if u have ur brother in canada if he applies on your behalf it will cost u only 5 dollars.

naveedbhai, two things.

did you get an answer from the visa office to your case specific enquiry? second, My passport is non-machine readable - means without the two line sof letters and digits with >>>>><<<<<< at the bottom of the photo page. Do you think this could pose problems if I were to land in a Canadian port? Secondly, would you think this could be why my security checks is taking so long?? My medicals reached London on 30 Jan and so far no PPR If you could answer [please, many tx
