Well the "what is to be done, will be done" has nothing to do with giving up or not caring. I just noticed that some members get too much stressed and absorbed in this whole process and they are missing out on other things in their daily life, or even worse they put their life in pause mode till they get a reply.
No matter how many posts we have in this forum the bottom line is one. We already sent our application and it has taken its own course. If it's incomplete they send it back, if they give PER then we wait for AOR, if we get AOR then we wait for "in process", etc. There is not much we can do to change what we submitted (and I'm not talking about unique cases who face problems - we are here also trying to help those,eh?). If I check the e-cas 10 times/day (not glad that I admit, but I do check all the time myself), it won't speed up my process and it won't change the outcome....
And another bottom line, there are higher chances of getting a NER than a negative AOR from the VO (according to some statistics I saw somewhere here in the forum; hope it's true), so I believe that most of us in this thread will have a positive outcome!
Good luck to all of us boys and girls, I believe we will make it through all this somehow :)

Now let me go check my e-cas once more :P
Well said Thalia...it would be 'abnormal' not to be nervous from the initial stage. I practically started checking my account from the day it was received...it is just normal. Now, i check my mail more than 10 times a day for PER. It is insane, but I just cna't help it! Good luck to us all!

Guys guys guys
Why dont u undrstand things. Do u think panicking and getting nervous is gonna change things. People do a great mistake by invlvng demselves into dis process so much dat they 4get dat they hv a normal schedule which is being hampered. So continue with ur regular work and let d process give its outcome which is gonna b+ only.
So chill and cheers
spicy....

I hope that this will be the deal with Rome. Even though I keep in mind that because they don't have much work load, there are also less officers there. It confuses me how the VO thing works. ND is one of the busiest, still they seem to process very fast their cases comparing to London and Buffalo VO. Is there a man-power difference between those VOs?

Hey wicky ,

Did u get anything from CIO regarding your PER? I am curious to know...what was ur job profile as NOC 6242 ? I got NER because of Job profile. They checked both my NOCs 0631 & 6242. While NOC 0631 was full, the found the job profile of NOC 6242 not as per HSRDC profile. Can you share your profile with me please?

Well guys you all look too much worried about your 2nd AOR and e-cas status I have noticed some of you applied and received PER after my PER date which I received last week, If we look into it my status is still CIO ER Complete. And those of you worried about 2nd AOR must take/ consider my application dates and e-cas status. I am also worried about it but not because what has to happen will happen.

So take my example who received PER after 8 weeks and 3 days but it was dated 28th of April. And my analysis are they are doing good with our applications but are a little bit lazy updating our status.

Take is easy and enjoy life.

Thanks
Wicky

Dear Mandie and others. Even i check ma status regularly rather more oftn dan some of u. But dat doesnt change thngs. Tk d example of wicky. I too am vry nervous of the process. But we need to b patient coz rightly stated by wicky some VO Are lazy in updating d status on e-cas

Hi Guys,

I found some useful Information on Cic.gc.ca and thought to share the links with u. It might be useful for u as well. The first link is a Chart of Client application status and the second about PR cards.
