Just a basic question, how did you guys are organizing/presenting full docs to VO. I mean do we need to put all in a kind of file in multiple covered sheet leaves or just put all together with paper clips and staple them in different groups?

just now i called canada .i wanted 2 know my application status.the lady whom i talked with asked my name,my DOB.then she give me ID and also told 2 wait till 6 july.she said i will get e mail by then.if i do not get e mail then i can call her again.pls members tell me what can i expect?

You need to write the name of the person at the back of all photos and put them in a envelop and write your name and date of birth on top seal or staple it and then attach it with a paper clip to the main application.

Place immigration photos in an envelope and staple the envelope to the second page of the application being careful not to put a staple through the photos.

Use no binders, page protectors, report covers, etc; Avoid excessive use of paper clips. If the application has numerous supporting documents, please use an elastic band. Do not submit documents in separate envelopes.

Hi Ashraful,

Dont worry just wait till 6th July you will get your AOR before that InshALLAH. If your application was to be returned she would have already told you that beacuse one april applicant contacted them yesterday and they said your application is already returned on 21st May due to some missing information. So atleast your application is still with them and they are looking at it so dont worry.

Press option 1

Then it shall ask you personal details
DOnt press any thing as you dont have any number and then it shall automatically transfer you to an Agent. But before you could speak to the agent you might have to hold for like 20-30 minutes. Thsi fone number is of Montreal so make sure yyou call them Montreal time 9-5.
The person you shall talk ll get your details, keep your Courier recipt in case he asks and then he shall tell you the status of your application.

As for your second question CIO shall send you an email so keep on checking your SPAM folder as well?

Hello friends
Am glad to let you guys know that i have received my 1st aor on June the 21st. Thanks to everyone on the thread for your kind encouraging words and moral support.

I will be asking questions on the next stage very soon as i prepare to send full document by the end of July.

Well a good news
I just received my AOR after exactly 100 days wow.

Couple of questions as my documents are ready all i need to know is shall we be sending the fee payment forms that we used to pay fee for NS office?

Thanks a lot guys specially cuccoo0 he is such a gem. With his help I called last night to inquire my status and they said that they had send the email to my email address which my consultant think he had not given to CIC, anyway I got their email and they said the following;

Dear Sir:

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada in the Federal Skilled Worker class.

The Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism issued instructions which were published in the Canada Gazette on November 28, 2008. These instructions specify that only applicants who have an offer of Arranged Employment, applicants who are legally residing in Canada for at least one year as a Temporary Foreign Worker or an International Student, or applicants who have work experience in certain listed occupations are eligible to be processed in the Federal Skilled Worker class.

Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application is being recommended to the visa office for a final determination of eligibility for processing on the basis of:

X Work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on 28 November 2008.

What does that mean?
