MANITOBA PNP CUT OFF POINTS TOO HIGH?

The MPNP lowest score for the skilled workers in Manitoba stream went from around 500 last year to 700+ this year.

I moved here from Ontario and have been working for 6 months now but my points are only about 650. Is anyone else facing this? What may be causing this jump? Can we hope for it to come down?

High scores are most likely due to not having CEC and FSW draws. People are focusing on PNPs for PR.

That makes sense. Didn't the CEC draws start in July? Maybe that will help bring down the cut off score.

It was an open draw with a CRS score of 542+. Draws will not bring down scores for a while. Indication from government that CEC draws will not happen for a while (or at all).

Are you applying in MPNP too? I'm thinking of moving again to Saskatchewan for SINP now.
