Manitoba Nomination letters LOA January 2011

hello,
iam new to this forum...i already applied my husband ,our daughter,and I for manitoba nomination program and we have been refused due to the sponsor social problems ...the sponsor is my husband 's aunt
now we applied again after 6 months last december....we received AOR so far and they said that they will call our sponsor and interviem him and that we should not try to contact them...our sponsor this time is my husband 's brother who has just finish a year in manitoba.

i wana now what are the questions they will ask our sponsor ..any idea?
and how long is this going to be?

Some people still here whom sponsors are interviewed or called , they will add their answers. But I think they just ask the sponsor how he will support the applicant , if the sponser knows you , for how long ? Is the sponsor sure you are going to stay in Manitoba after coming to canada ? As for application processing time , it depends on many factors , just 5 months or 8 months at most . The AOR letter you recieved has file number or not ?

Hi all ,

Chizyin has recieved her LOA dated January 4, she wrote that on the other thread here. Manitoba immigration dating LOA for all people January 4, 2011 from June and May.

Around Oct, his uncle said that the embassy called them up and ask for addl docs to prove our family tree/relation.
We’ve sent addl docs last Oct.
Dec 2, his uncle texted us saying that they received a letter from MB stating our file number.
Is that what you call AOR? Our uncle didn’t say it’s an AOR, he just said, you guys got a file number### and "next will be your approval letter"..but I don't know if those " " are in the letter or our uncle just concluded it.
Pls make AOR clear to me guys.

Yup, that is you AOR (Acknowledgment of Receipt). If all goes well, they might call your sponsors again and if there's no problem, you're application will be approved. Hoping for the best! Good luck to all! I hope we could all be in Manitoba within this year!
