Try RED FISH BLUE FISH, they're really great. I love their fish and chips and tuna tacone. We went there last spring stayed at the Empress. They have the Hatley Castle there too, home for the X-Men And hope you guys are staying nearby the Parliament building because it's so romantic at night with the Parliament building all lights on.

We finally had our diabetic retinoplasty done ! Unlike with the first opthamologist we went to wherein he said we need to be injected with a dye to dilate our eye vessels ( initial cost PHP6,000.00) and another test that will cost PHP13,000 and that the procedure will take one whole day, the specialist that we went to this time, at Medical City, Pasig was very straight and the procedure took only less than one hour. He has a US training.

There is a finding however of cataract which he said is normal for senior people ( I am 63 and my husband is 64). I don't know how the accredited clinic will take this. We will bring the doctor's report on Monday. Will keep the readers informed.

I am glad now. I was worried because I knew you do not need to get that flourecein angiogram--dye must be injected into the blood vessel. I knew you only need a dye dropped on your eyes, that's the first physical examination for retinopathy test. I just did not want to make you guys too worried. Cataract can be treated with an eye drop as well. Should not be a burden. Thanks po for sharing.

Their application is being processed in Canada--Case Processing Pilot (CPP) Ottawa, not in Manila visa office. Medical request arrives first and then after a few months a new update of their online status appears, then they will be asked to submit their original passports to Manila visa office.

hi moraine. kamusta ka naman ? and ur parents ? alam mo ba lumabas na result ng board, and i passed!! today punta kami ng mtero town magkikita ng ka forum ko din dito under spouse. sana naman hindi ako mag aral ng taon, sana buwan lang, magiinquire kc kami sa kung san man pwede hehehe , ipapaassess namin mga credentials namin.

one year yun from date of your medicals.

guys, i've been reading other country's immigration programs particularly that of australia, dunno if anyone of you have knowledge about it but here it is... in australia you have two options, one, apply for it and pay just around $9k for both parents but processing times is 22 years. secondly, apply for it and pay humongous amount of $89k but you can have your visa done in 2 years only. thats the dilema aply or not to aply. years back, Canada had been copying australia's immigration policies specifically that of skilled workers. in short, new policies for parents are being polishd while it still at pausd for two years and these new policies would most likely resemble that of australia's. do you think so? so i guess those whose papers are already on file give your best shot, do good, from your medicals to the documents they require you. this is just my observation but feel free to do the search and see for your self.

in addition to this, aside from paying these big amounts you still have to comply with the balance of family test. Canada have patternd its skilled worker policies to that of australia's, baka gawin nila sa parents category. but again this is personal observation lets see neks year balikan niyo na lng tong post ko paki-like pag ganun ginawa nila....

"Medical resuls . . . received" appears today, but still under in process. I am wondering about this because as what I noticed the update about medical appeared under "decision made" on e-cas of applicants who already got their visas. I am not sure if this is always correct to those applications being processed and finalized in LVO.

We'll keep the faith and give it all to Jesus.

In-Process pa rin ang status ko hanggang ngayon. They started processing August 9, 2012. Sa LVO-Manila pinadala ang medicals at passport. So sa iyo from "in process" nagiging medical results received? Thanks.

hi guys ask ko lang po may sister in law sponsored my mother and father in law plus my sister in law. na medical na sila third week of june and na pass na nila ang passport and other documents first week of june din. Now sa ecas nila nakalagay na Aug 2, 2012 start yung processing application nila what does it mean? So far wala naman call galing sa nationwide about sa medical nila.
