Jan 2009 - filed application to sponsor
Nov 2009 - application to sponsor got approved
Dec 2009 - application filed in cic - Manila
Jan 2010 - AOR
Dec 13, 2011 - my family received MD, PPR, Sponsor update info and copy of reciept Landing Fee. Take note that these kits sent on Dec 13, but for some reason my mom recieved this letter last Jan 25, 2012.

Feb 06, 2012 - Medical exam at NHSI
Feb 14, 2012 - NHSI ask my mom to redo the X-ray
Feb 17, 2012 - Redo the X-Ray

Now waiting .....

Pano mo nalaman na unqualified na sila? Nag-inform ba ang embassy sa inyo na yong 2 brothers mo ay hindi na qualified as your parents dependent? Or pano ba? Please explain mo nman kasi yong bro Ko din ngayon over 22 na, nag-school uli sya ngyon November 2011 lang pero hindi pa nag-asawa.

Jomjom.. for sure your brother will be granted for PR as well your parents becouse he still single and his in college. When your parents submitted their application in CIC-Manila, the age of your brother will be locked-in.. just maintain his status now.

Tapos na cla mgpamedical nung dumating ung letter tpos un pala di cla mggrant ng visa. Kasama pa din kasi clang 2 nung ngpdala ng forms for medical..

Yong sa case mo, after ng medical nila ilang weeks pa bago sila nakareceive ng letter galing sa embassy na hindi na sila qualified as dependent?

Na-receive nila ang passport request together with their medical request letter. They already send their passports and other updated docs last Jan. 24, 2012. Hopefully, everybody will be granted their Visas.

ako din me gap ung schooling ko ng 1 sem kasi nagtake ako ng board exam pero nagcontinue studying pa din ako up to now. sna qualified pa din naman un nu. btw, im 22 years old. ako lang dpendent ng mother ko

Para malinaw for everyone, if your application was received by CIC here in Canada before you turn 22 your age is locked in. Meaning kahit lampas ka na ng 22 pag dumating ang visa nyo you are still considered as a dependent as long as wala kang ka live-in or walang asawa.
If they received your application here in Canada and 22 ka na, you must prove na dependent ka pa sa sponsor mo or sa main applicant. How do you prove this? By continuing your studies. So pag 22 ka na nung na receive ang application dapat tuloy tuloy ang pag-aaral mo to prove na dependent ka pa.

My 2 brothers were 19 & 16 respectively when their applications were received in 2007. It was approved in 2011 and they just had their medical exam January 2012. In February 2012, CIC Manila requested for their CENOMAR (they need to check if any of them got married). Hopefully passport request na soon for them. My mom had to re-do the tests because she is diabetic, meron lang syang maintenance drugs and not insulin dependent. Sana matapos na ito this year dahil it will be 5 years na by August 2012.

Dont worry, when the CIC-Manila asked you to submit the updated docs on Dec 2011, you proved that you're still studying up-to-date and that's enough evidence for VO to issue your PR visa under dependant child with your mom. About your age, don't worry... it was locked-in from the 1st time you submitted your application in CIC-Manila.

I forgot, keep your status as single, If let say you are in relationship, dont ever go for a secret marriage or as common-law (live-in couples/partner) it will jeopardise your PR application. A friendly reminder...
