Guys, I want to share of what I got a letter from New Delhi, India.

We are in the process of working with HQ to update processing information globally in this program. For New Delhi, our revised standard replies will provide information along the lines below. Please note that the processing of cases who applied under Ministerial Instructions II before those who applied under Ministerial Instructions I, was a policy decision taken by the government of Canada.

If you applied as a Federal Skilled Worker on or after February 27, 2008 and before June 26, 2010 , your application will take two years or more to be processed. This is due to the fact that Canada received over 425,000 applications under this program during this period.

* Unfortunately, it will take longer to process federal skilled worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected.

* During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.

* This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the federal skilled worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed.

Please advise your clients accordingly, thank you.

guys, settle down... if you notice, iba iba ang processing times per visa offices... so far, the manila VO have not issued any statements regarding "visa staggering" and delays... pansin ko sa new delhi threads iba ang processing nila... matagal sila mag intay ng PPR then mabilis ang release ng visas nila...

keep in mind, na process na ang applications and documents nyo... because the MR would not have been issued kung hindi pa sila tapos sa documents nyo... now after the MR, background security checks and ME results na lang ang magiging reason for refusal... hindi naman i forward ng DMP ang results if you need further evaluation... at malamang, wala naman kayong krimen na pending trial or investigation wahahahaha... so si PPR, darating din yan...

i am sure the VO will consider the validity of your MERs... as quoted by heatspine from qorax, there were instances where the VO extended the visas issued 2 MOS post the MER due to the close proximity of the visa stamping and 1 year anniversary of the MER...

so the announcement that was made to new delhi agents was most probably for the information of those who are still awaiting their MRs... to give them a timeline to expect... tapos na kayo doon... plus, two years (from the time all documents were forwarded to the local VO) is not bad at all... pero di na nga kayo kasama don sa tingin ko...

ipagpatuloy lang natin ang prayer brigade... magkikita kita din tayong lahat sa canada nyan ;D

goodluck!

hello guys!! Its been 5 weeks....I'm hoping to hear good news today!! ;D ;D

Hopefully para sa New Delhi V.O. lang ang news na yan...or maybe sa mga pre-june2011 na nde pa nagmedicals, that might be the reason kaya wala pa din silang MR..hopefully not!!! kawawa naman sila. Lets continue to hope and pray. :)

I agree with cannimmigrant, we already had our medicals and we have paid the RPRF so the worst thing that could happen would be a remedical which so have not yet happen in Manila V.O.

Let's just hope that our V.O.s would finally be releasing again PPRs, since based on our spreadsheet the last was issued about a month ago.

Though on the brighter side, those who already had their PPRs and were waiting for their visas are already getting DM status ( which means that visas are on their wayback na ) at an average of 4 applicants per week.

So sa tingin ko baka ubusin muna nila those waiting for visas ( who had been waiting for about 6 mos since their PPRs ), before they ask for our passports for us who already had medicals.

Sana nga lang by the time we get our PPRs our waiting time will be shorter ( should be 30 days as compared to the 90 days before) since we already waited for so long for the PPR and we cant afford further waiting time since most of us are already about 6 mos. to medical/visa expiration.

For the meantime, let's continue with our prayer brigade every 9pm para mapanaginipan na tayo ng mga VOs ;)

Guys, I hope its not really true and not applicable to us those waiting for PPR. CIC officers wont disclose such information like this because the have generic replies as they said. Perhaps, immigration lawyers and cic officers discussed this issues on how to reduce backlogs and fast-tracking those in queue.

The PPR will be here soon. God bless all of us guys.
