I think the VO's are trying to release the visas at least 5-6 months before visa expiry! Di ba til Sept po visa validity niyo? Pwede po malaman when kayo nagfile application? Thank you.

congrats sayo iab03 ang bilis magkasunod lang tayo sana susunod na sa amin. Yung mga wala pang PPR be patient lang yung samin 5 months naghintay ... Sana parepareho ang maging case natin kagaya ng kay iab03 na matagal nagPPR pero mabilis naman na release visa.....

hi iab03,congrats!!!!!!klan mo pala naisubmit ang PASSport mo?ang bilis kasi!!!!sana kami rin matanggap na visa.naisubmit kasi nmin ng march 10 ang passports.in process p rin nkalagay s ecas at nawala rin ang address namin.hhhaaayyyy sana this week dumating n rin s amin!!!!

Hi Rich,

CEM requested that as part of the additional documents of our new born dependents after we've done our medicals and received the 1st PPR. As mentioned in their guidelines they can request for updated proof of funds in any stage of your application.

thanks for that ndpadin. is this standard process to be requesting updated proof of fund? what are the chances that this could be a concern for final approval?

Hi rhmanalili,

I'm not quite sure about that. I just based my opinion on the statement written in the medical request letter that we received. It says that " IMPORTANT: In your signed application for permanent residence, you indicated funds that you will bring to Canada for settlement purposes. At any time before the finalization of your application or before your landing in Canada, you may be required to demonstrate that these funds remain readily available for transfer or use in Canada. Failure to satisfy this requirement could result in the refusal of your being granted permanent residence in Canada".


In our case they had requested the updated POF as we have new addition in our family. Hope it helps..

Hello People Kinda confused this time on how to go about my Medical,

The medical request i got says to include medical of the whole family members even if they er not going with me to Canada and my brother is in saudi and sister in Malaysia.

Can some1 help me on how to get it fixed?
