Salamat naman at ganun lang ka simple ang sitwasyon ni sodapop.

Maganda po yang sinabi nyo Mr./Ms. seng na "May we always remain humble and a Blessing to others".
Dagdag ko lang din ang sinabi ni Dolphy sa mga anak nya na "Nothing will be wrong if you are humble"

Thanks NomO18!Ms.po ako hehe! God Bless us all :)

Hi Sodapop! I guessed it right that it was only in the manner of sending the email to the Consultancy first, then to you. Happy to know that you are back in a good place again and nothing to worry anymore. :)

Oo nga, yan din naisip ko nung mabasa ung email, pero syempre sumagi parin sa isip ko na baka binawi nga nila ung PPR namin at nagkamali sila ng decision....
alam mo na, tamang duda narin...

im happy not because we are about to land soon, may happiness comes from the fact that the waiting time isssss ooovvvveeeeerrrr!
all those sleepless nights and anxious days......

waiting for our time to smell the greener pasture of Canada!

Congrats, sodapop and to everyone who has received their PPRs and visas! Enjoy the moment of elation!

I attended the PDOS yesterday. I found it just as informative as the COA orient only it had been much briefer. I will be landing in BC next week.

Hi butetebetlog! May I ask what the PDOS advised you in what to bring or declare to the Immigration show, is it a cash in Canadian or US dollar or just the passbook that we used in our settlement fund? Hope you can enlighten. I just want to prepare ahead coz I cant attend PDOS yet coz im stil waiting for our visa stamping. Thank you very much. Bon voyage to you nxt week! :)

Para sigurado, hintayin mo muna ang PPR mo. Based on my experience 2 yrs. ago, after ng medical umattend na kami CIIP but what I received was a refusal letter. What I'm trying to say is nothing is definite unless you have the visa in your hand. If you mean kung nakaka apekto ang pag attend o hindi pag attend sa CIIP, my answer is NO, but it helps because this will give you a glimpse of what to expect sa Canada, very informative because mga Canadians ang mga speakers.

Hello, sanrio girl. Thanks!

As to the currency, we'll have to bring in CAD since the POF for the application is in Canadian. I am not certain if US currency will be accepted at the port of entry and I suppose you'll have to bring in a larger amount since hindi sila equal ng value? The speaker says we''ll have to bring in the whole amount required for the POF (depending on how many family members). Since the POF exceeds 10K CAD just declare it daw. It is expected of us that we'll be carrying that amount since we are under skilled worker category (yung mga family class lang hindi). Skilled workers and provincial nominees are required to satisfy the immigration officer that they have with them the POF (pero usually naman daw hindi chinicheck pero why risk it diba).

You may use bank draft or cash. I heard it can be used in combination. Safer din siguro kesa may dala na malaking value na cash lahat. Baka mawala. I have pasted below a link to qorax's post about the subject for more information. ;) Please double check with the official CIC website regarding the amount required since qorax's post was already 2 years ago and the value has increased slightly.
