Good day to all,

I and my spouse are going to renew our passports from green to e-passport.

Is it acceptable if my wife will still use her maiden name or it is mandatory for her to use my surname once she renewed her passport?
We are worried that changing her surname might create conflict on her legal documents here in Saudi Arabia and might also affect our PR application because all documents in the application are in her maiden name.

Any advicefrom members please.

Thx,
Horace

yey!! lipat na ako sa thread na ito.. hehehe.. gano katagal pala magsubmit ang st luke's ng med results??

Hi quami. I think the provincial nominee program has different timeline standards compared to FSW. If i remember correctly, mas mabilis ata timelines nila at di malaki reqt for settlement fund. You might want to check PNP timelines for the province you are going to.

Hi quami, nung time ko, I did my medical at St.Luke's....sabi pag within 2 weeks wala kang narinig from them (CEM or St. Luke's) cleared na daw ang medicals mo. So I guess 2-3 weeks? I was interviewed January 27, did my medical early Feb,by end of march I got my visa na. This all happened in 2001,kaya no other options kami but St' Luke's.

Always remember that GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME so just consider the "delay" as another form of "blessing." We are where God wants us to be and He answers all our prayers in a way that is best for us.

All is well, friend... all is well...

Hi guys! I am new here.. Inquire lng po ako sa inyo regarding my status.. If ever ba na marequestsan na kami ng MR, san po ba kami mgpamedical? Coz im presently residing in Singapore, my hubby's in bangkok. Do we need to go back to Pinas para sa medical or possible ba na sa country of residence? Hope somebody can answer my query. Thanks!

hi snakeyes2010....

i could imagine the feeling of frustration....
if its any help...you could probably adapt the perspective na baka kaya di pa tumutuloy e meron pa much better timing plan si God. Always believe that he knows what is best for us and maybe he knows the timing is not yet right.

let me share to you a very powerful prayer that i always cling to whenever there are times of trials and difficulties... i have shared this prayer with some of my friends who are really in despair...and it always uplifts me when they come back to thank me for this because in one way or another...by God's grace...their petitions were granted.

Just try it out...nothing to loose. Just remember that when you pray it...pray it fervently....with all your heart. Make the words personal...as if it was your own words....

good luck and God bless.
