same case pala tayo Austinshasi, more than 6 mo`s waiting of PPR until now no development, i am so confused coz this coming school opening if i am going to enroll my kids, what if the PPR arrived they will stop to study. my brother in canada advised me not to enroll my kids this coming school opening, because the PPR will arrived soon, hopefully mag bilang anghel sana siya. Actually i just made a follow up to CEM last january, the CEM replied informing that my application is on the FINAL STAGE OF PROCESSING..sana next week meron nang ppr.

hi catsferd. i emphatize with you and austinshasi. it's also my dillemmna, its just good that i'm already on the visa waiting stage - and that as well has taken too long.

here's my take. if i were in your shoes, i think i'd enroll my kids, why? because of uncertainty. kaming mga nasa visa waiting stage have waited and still waiting for 5 months now. parang ganun ang naging trend. And true enough may validity date na kasi na hinahabol as stated sa PPR so pressured ang VO to release it before it expires. now for those on the mr or ppr stage, i hope ma-i-process rin pero the trend is its getting longer and longer. And come to think of it, may bagong rules na namin sa july which would further complicate things.

so siguro, ang point ko, the timing is out of our hands and we cannot stop living our lives because of the dictates of the process. pwede mo pa rin naman i-pull out ang mga kids whenever the visa arrives. magastos nga lang ... :( pero siguro ganun ang gagawin ko.

tanong ko lang, kapag nagsubmit ba ng addt'l docs per CEM request at RPRF, magpapadala pa sila ng another AOR? I sent mine earlier this month kasi and until now i havent heard anything from them.. worry ko baka nawala ung mga pinadala ko..

no, status in the e-cas would remain the same. you can email them though for confirmation of receipt -- or for the RPRF -- you can validate if your check has been encashed.

I agree with heatspine catsferd, take the advice of enrolling your kids to school, though its another expense on your part, you can pull-out naman your kids anytime as soon visa is offered. Remember God will really appreciate sacrifices. God bless your decisions. ;) ;)

Guys, all of us are waiting for PPR, its so depressing. I think all Visa Officers are waiting for the command from their respected heads until the May 2 elections done. For sure, this week we will receive a good news from them and keep on posted updating your PPR status.
Blessed those who believe in CHRIST! :-*

goog evening guys, thanks for the advise heatspine and snakeyes, maybe i should enrolled my daughter at TESDA and taking up a vocational course, and i think it can help her to gain little knowledge even a short time to take, especially when we land in canada, hopefully with god help...
