Ive seen in the spreadsheet that bersaminaangie from 2011 app has been denied without interview but she got PPR. Does someone know why shes been denied?

SHes dependant child not a spouse I saw her post in fb..

That's right.. I saw her post on FB as well, it was a while ago, she didn't meet the requirements of dependent child. Don't know why CEM let it carry on almost a year before her denial.

Thank you so much Steph C I have a better view of these things now, please help me on how we can get him on a student visa, I really don't know what's the best thing to do with him, we really need all of you who can help us...

If we will get him on a student visa do we need to find first a school for him there and pay the fees?If not what shall we do...We really need advice on the best thing that we should do for him to be accompanying...

I think that if your son was accepted into a school then he would have to apply for a visa and yes pay the fees. Having the rest of his family in Canada would definitely help with the visa. I guess after a few years of studying it can be a springboard to his own PR. Not sure how it all works so you're best to consult the experts on the student thread.

Got my visa around 11am, they returned everything that we submitted aside from the forms. I also received the GCMS notes last July 3, requested June 2, but yea that doesn't matter anymore ;D Very thankful that the visa arrived before the booked flight on July 21

Again, thanks everyone! It was very nice meeting wonderful people all throughout the process. I hope that everyone will get to the finish line very soon.

thank you! you did request for the gcms notes too right? you'll have the idea when the visa will be issued when you received the notes. on my notes, they had the decision already 05/13, i dont know what took them so long to issue the visa. perhaps the last officer who will finalize everything is a member of the union and is on strike too.Lol

so before they even sent you ppr it was already decided that they'll give you visa?? Hmmm thats a great news then .. Ill get my gcms notes end of july.. My wife's sending her papers on the 6th of july and hope it e delivered by the 8th

OBSERVATIONS: Legality of marriage: appears to be first marriage for both applicant and sponsor, and both meet minimum age requirements. No previous relationship declared. BACKGROUND- FOSS and GCMS checks done, no adverse info. SUMMARY: Information on file appears to establish relationship between sponsor and applicant. Appears interview waiver may be warranted. Background information appears to be complete. File referred to officer for waiver confirmation review.

and then ppr came 05/16. so i guess the delay came from the last officer who finalize the review.

i think it's still on a case to case basis. some applicants are getting request for addtl documents still even after ppr. another thing too, on my gcms notes, on the 1st page, it says,

Group name: FC – PRI- 3a – Straightforward – For Officer Review/Waiver Confirmation
