All I get is errors. Nothing comes up from my search

When you know what dates roughly you want to travel send me a message and I can give you an idea what the cost, times stopovers etc will be.

Thanks. I'm going to double check with my travel agent why we can't go through Hong Kong? This would save us a few about $400.
When I compared the deals from MNL to HKG, it was actually cheaper to fly from MNL. Sometimes it works out from HKG and sometimes it doesn't.

Congrats Lucky! No more ECAS, how great is that...

But you know that you will eventually suffer withdrawals from all this excitement. But CIC has a cure for that. It's called the citizenship application. ;D

I think we should start a new line of inquiry: good places for shipping belongings and best flight prices.

Thanks buddy.... I'm sure nothing will match the.... Um.... Joys of cic!

In all honesty... I'm happy for everyone, this means, and our gcms notes prove it... That remeds equal approval, and it gives an updated timeline for you guys.

We'll be booking with Expedia... I find the other site ha e buried costs when you actually go to purchase.... And for an extra hundred... Direct to Vancouver.

I think a year of waiting is worth it... Hehe

Cheers!

I was happy to hear that PAL had direct Manila to Toronto. But supposedly now they stop in Vancouver and make you wait on the plane for an hour and a half. Might as well just connect through HK and go Cathay.

Oh, maybe that isn't so bad. Total travel time 17h 50m including the hour and a half on the ground. hmmm...

There used to be a Manila/Vancouver/Winnipeg deal between PAL and Air Canada but for some reason that doesn't exist anymore.

Do you not have to disembark upon arriving in Canada (i.e. in Vancouver)? Do all your immigration stuff?...

You can read more about the flight here...

I heard you stay on the plane. They just let some people off, take some new ones on, then go. Just imagine how long the layover would be if everyone had to get off, let alone go through customs!

Wow... I do like that hipmunk site.... I was mainly talking about the other sites that are always floating around the tagalog threads.... Once you actually book those there are sometimes as much as 400 added in taxes and fees.

I have to admit that St. Raphael looks really tempting. I'm just don't know how reliable they are.

Supposedly $693 all in for Manila to Toronto on PAL. Expedia has the same flight for $1093 all in.

If you decide to take this route let me know, as I would be very interested. As it would mean I could meet my wife in Toronto and not Vancouver.

Hipmunk found me the ultimate flight! Royal Thai to Bangkok, then Zurich, then Toronto on Air Canada. 28 and a half hours, $11936 one way! Sure it takes a while but I imagine you must go in style all the way...

I saw this site too... but don't know about how reliable it is too.

CJG, Manila to WPG is cheaper on here too

On St. Raphael you have to add the taxes they list when you click "details". Not sure if there are more fees on top of that. Still looking.

Payment is cash or bank to bank transfer. On the bright side that eliminates the need to show the credit card or photocopy of it at the airport...

2-0 Leafs in the 3rd....just sayin'.....
