hey guys! do you have any idea what insurance company I can get a temp health insurance for a low price? I wont be able to apply for a health card until my 90th day from landing. the other night I had really bad rashes and my husband rushed me to the hospital. when i saw how much it cost all i wanted was to go home.of course I knew it was nothing coz i've had them before when I was new in another country...any advice?

From our file notes I received in November our "assignment due date" is today..
We're hoping theyrr might be some news coming..otherwise no activity on our file at all..

damn! six days Tagum! thats a long time to not have power in a cold weather. hope you guys had a generator/fireplace or gas range.. My lights were out for three days.. and that was enough for me..

I received an email from my friend in china, telling that the PSB would not issue me a police certificate because I am no longer a temporary resident in China,,,,,, I already emailed CEM and sent the screen shot email of my friend to them.. What should I do next? has anyone here the same situation as mine?so sad :'(....What should I expect now.....

I wonder why the lack of clearance paperwork wasn't caught during the screening in Mississauga..I thought these docs were to be included with your initial application submission..it's a requirement on the checklist..
Hope you can wiggle out of the thirty days CEM has requested or your application is in serious jeopardy..I hope you get a favorable response from them.

It was my fault. I overlooked the guidelines. I already emailed them if I can send my pp and other required docs without my police clearance yet. they replied me i could send it then I could send the police clearance once availble. I told them that I probably get my PC sometime this month, then after sending my pp and other rquuired docs, after 3 days my friend emailed me that the PSB would not give me a police clearance, I was so devastated.... my 45 days will be over this january 09, .... I dont know what to do now...

I wish I could offer some suggestions that might be helpful.
You might try emailing the Canadian Embassy in Beijing to ask for suggestions where you can turn for help.
It does sound in the response from CEM that they might give you some wiggle time.
Did you ask CEM by chance if they had suggestions about where to go from here? Iknow that sounds kind of outrageous but if you don't ask you won't know.
