Also, just wanted to mention that when you updated your profile, the date format you used for your most recent update was inconsistent with the previous formats. Not that it matters, but it might confuse people who aren't familiar with your exact details.

No kidding, I agree that it DOES matter, thanks for pointing that out. In my excitement, I must have followed MY own personal preference of M-D-YY rather than the format mask quite clearly under my nose . . . Duh!!

I was hoping for some news before the holidays, but that probably won't happen now! I was going to order GCMS notes so that when they request extra documents we will be ready. But I got really confused. If I want them to release notes to me, the Canadian, for my partner's file in Manila, do I have to get him to sign the form?

Are you expecting an interview? I would have thought that the application would have been inspected for all required documents before it was sent to the VO.
When we filled out the application documents there was a part where you get to include the agent to be contacted. I as the sponsor filled that out. Should that not allow me access to everything?

I saw that somebody got a passport request on the 27th, so I think they are still working away over there.

No Boxing Day there. They went back to work on the 27th.

Tomorrow will be our 8 month anniversary of them receiving our application.. and after they screwed up so bad with my sponsor approval, I really wish we could hear something from Manila soon.

7 Months for us. It will be 8 on January 10th. To be perfectly honest I am not expecting anything until March at the earliest.

A June applicant got their visa already. I'm not expecting a visa right away : just wishing for some kind of request for a passport or whatever documents they might need.
