tnx a lot albert! BON VOYAGE! kelan alis nyo?

pano kau nakapag pa sked ng COA? pwede bang pumili ng date?

thank you mimi. sa nov 12 na kami aalis but still scouting for cheaper rates.. hehehe. for COA u need to text this number 09175684868. the format in texting is Your Name, embassy file number and date of seminar. they will reply naman after 24hrs.. kung ok ung date na pinili mo.. ganyan ang ginawa ko last week.. ;) ;)

hi imbubbles.. the resume that they are asking is for the activity that you will be doing.. there is a part in the session that they will discuss the proper outline for your resume based on the canadian standards... you can actually schedule your CIIP even without the help of your agency just like what we did. we too had an agency but we took the initiatives in scheduling those seminars. i think there is nothing harm in doing that... :D :D :D :D.. if i were you, call them first and then send the registration form thru fax and they will get in touch with you..

in our case, our agency told us that there is no schedule for CIIP last august but i sent the form to CIIP thru fax and lo and behold, they called me and scheduled us last Aug 23-24... don't be too dependent on your agency.. hehehe..

yap bubbles, yung form pero yung letter from the embassy telling about ciip, hingi cla ng fotocopy noon...ok lang na kahit ano ang format ng resume, tuturuan din naman nila tayo kung paano gagawin

i agree with you albert...

kuya albert, maharlika -- problem ko is that our agency made us fill-up the form then told us they will request for a seminar in baguio, which is what i prefer than going to manila. :( I just literally filled up the form then sent it to them. I knew someone who's in toronto na who had their ciip in baguio, with the help of our agency. Now it's almost 2 months (sent it 1st week of august) and still no schedule for us... pero i asked other baguio clients and they, too, are waiting so i guess we just have to wait. :) my mistake lang not to read and understand what's in the letter.. hehe. i missed the requirements, thinking they will be needing only the ID, passports and visa only :)

but for COA and PDOS, we'll sched as soon as we get hold of our visa... wala naman expiry date ang PDOS, dba? in case we'll land in feb or march? :)

bubbles,

not sure if no expiration ang pdos but yan din ang iniisip ko, yung stamp lang cguro ang importante doon hehehe, re coa, tulad din yan ng ciip so, ganoon rin cguro na once lang tayo aatend.

sa sked naman ng ciip, cguro u can try to email them if me sked ba cla for baguio if u want it there...then verify if kasali ka and when, they will giv u d list of requiements, for me, mas mabuti na u'll attend ciip sooner kc dami ka matutunan...if u want the email i cud pm it to u...

highly recommended ang CIIP because they will create a program for you on what you need to do, who are you going to contact once you are there, websites that can help you checking if there are available jobs in the province that you would like to land.. etc. etc..

i hope that you can attend that seminar.. the good thing is it is for free.

there is no expiration sa pdos and to quote what was indicated in the website:

"The emigrant registration sticker has no validity date. You will only be required to apply for the revalidation/re-issuance of your emigrant registration sticker under the following circumstances:

# When the immigrant visa in a foreign country has been revoked or has expired but the applicant has acquired another immigrant visa in the same country;

# When the immigrant visa in a foreign country has been revoked but the applicant has acquired another immigrant visa in another country, in which case, the person shall be registered as a new emigrant;

# When the emigrant has acquired another immigrant visa in another country;

# Passport with emigrant registration sticker is lost; and

# Passport with emigrant registration sticker is mutilated or damaged."

Thanks!

I recommend that everyone attends the CIIP. This is an excellent seminar, and the best of the 3 that are available. You get practical guides on how to reformat your resume, tips on how to tackle your interview, websites and websites of useful information for your job sear, career tools exclusive to CIIP clients, a one-on-one session with a counselor who will sit down with you and your MAP (My Action Plan) for the days ahead. Even better, you get CIIP referrals to jobs and 1-day Canadian experience.

I actually rescheduled my departure to make way for this seminar and I am so happy I took it.

Best of luck to you all!

Hello,

Tanong ko lang po ano-anong seminar po ba ang kailangan attendan ng mga FSW before landing in Canada? Kasi dun sa MR and RPRF Request ko may naka attached na application form for CIIP Seminar, aside from that meron pa po bang iba? andpapano po mag-aaply dun sa iba? May nababasa kasi akong other seminars like PDOS/COA
