MANILA APPLICANTS: Question about COA/CIIP/PDOS Schedule

Di ako sure kung nashare ko na ito: we had our PDOS on April 5. 400 pesos each ang registration fee. Our baby was exempted from the seminar but required to be registered also so nagbayad din kami for him. Ang daming attendees. We arrived 8am and after the registration process, ilang seats na lang ang available sa seminar. Canadian-bound pa lang yun. May isang attendee na nauna sa akin sa cashier. Nakipagtalo pa sa staff. Bakit daw need pang bayaran ang anak nya eh minor naman at exempted sa seminar. Sa loob-loob ko lang, bayaran na lang at wag nang makipagtalo. We are at their mercy because we need the CFO sticker. Imagine, we can't fly without their sticker! Kahit daw magmakaawa pa tayo sa immigration officer, we won't be allowed to board the plane. Hays.

baguhan pa lng po kasi ., hindi ko kasi matawagan yung tel nos nila at nag-eeror dun sa online reservation .,,

baguhan pa lng po kasi ., hindi ko kasi matawagan yung tel nos nila at nag-eeror dun sa online reservation .,,

Hindi na po kailangan ng reservation. Just come in early (para makaregister din ng maaga).

hindi pa po kasi nka book yung flight and sa lunes ko p planung mag-attend ng seminar.

kiking taga davao din ako. dumating na ba ang passport mo with the visa? sa cebu din kami mag pdos para less ang tao. we sent our passport last nov 24 lang

may PDOS pala sa Cebu? i thought manila lang ang PDOS. meron sa cebu this month? i'm planning to have my PDOS next week..

ask ko lang po how far the CFO building is from Makati? coz the only person i know i can stay when I'm there is in Makati. Don't know if i should just find another place near CFO or doable na sa makati nalang ako stay.

hi baby_gurl, ang understanding ko COA and CIIP are voluntary pareho but PDOS is compulsary since nga they are the one to issue sticker na required before you can fly to canada...

By experience, pag maaga nagpabook, mas mura ang plane ticket. So book now para makuha mo yung lowest priced ticket! ;D Any working day naman eh pwede ka pumunta to get your PDOS, basta nga lang super aga ka kasi nga no reservation sila. First come, first served. If I'm not mistaken, hanggang 65 pax lang yata ang pwede maaccommodate nung seminar room nila.

Required by the Philippine government ang PDOS. Bakit naman ayaw mong mag attend ng CIIP and COA? Alam mo, very informative ang dalawang seminar na ito funded by the government of Canada. May certificate pa na ibibigay sa iyo and brochures and fliers na pwede mong balik-balikan pag may mga questions ka. Just my two cents. Thanks!

I resigned last May pa. & I plan to take PDOS late June/ early July kasi...

i resigned last march pa. i ticked on unemployed.

well, I'm one of those guys who resigned from work prior to PDOS .....i attended the said orientation yesterday, the officer there advised me to still tick the employed status and indicate my profession..erm he told me that as long as its within 6 months... ;D ;D btw, they will assist you naman how to fill-up the form.. ;D ;D ;D ;D
