Please bear with me as explaining my situation is a bit lengthy.
I currently have a Non-Express Entry PNP PR application in progress (security screening) for almost two years. Based on the AOR from this application, I have applied for a BOWP on Dec 1, 2025 which is in progress as well.
Recently, I received an ITA under the CEC – Express Entry stream and I am about to submit my application. I do not wish to withdraw my existing Non-Express Entry PNP application, as it has already been in process for two years, and I would prefer whichever application allows me to obtain PR sooner.
I have the following questions regarding maintaining my status and BOWP application:
1. If I submit my PR application under the CEC – Express Entry stream, will my existing BOWP application (based on the Non-Express Entry PNP application) be refused?
2. Once I receive the Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) for my CEC – Express Entry PR application, should I:
• Apply for a second BOWP using the new AOR, or
• Withdraw my existing BOWP application (based on the Non-Express Entry PNP) and then apply for BOWP with the AOR from the CEC – Express Entry application?
