Hi guys,

In my opinion different threads on the "Visa Offices" are better than starting new threads related to "states" or "provinces" of any country. Visa office threads will be more useful to the Forum members to understand the processing times, procedures and practices adopted there. There are already New Delhi, Islamabad, Manila, Damascus....... and more threads.

yes ha2922..
first of all we r human then indian.so we should not have such mentally for other community..same as australians feel for indians.
@pal83,
dont u think we r same as other western people do with indians? so be human .be indian..
good luck

Hi All,

This is not the first community specific thread on this forum....so if you really wanna vent then please go and delete the other threads first...besides..deleting any of those will be futile...because as somebody said "Lets be Humans"...and as all humans do we will end up sticking wiith our own kind....not that there are different kinds of humans but people of a specific community tend to understand each other's problems and issues better than the ones outside the community... here are a few examples

talking to a bengali will help you find out where the best fish is available...:)
talking to a tamilian will help you find out wheres the nearest temple or theatre which plays rajinikant movies..:)
talking to punjabi will help you find the best tandoori chicken in the area...:)

so on and so forth

anyways if you are not a malayali or do not wish to participate in this thread then nobody is forcing you to...but please dont discourage somebody's efforts ..

@amvk...njan malayali aanu...ningalku yendhu shayam aanu vendadhu??..:)

Cheers,
Rishab

Dear Friends,
Firstly I would like to introduce myself. I am Jose hailing from a place called Ranni in Kerala. I came to Canada 2 years ago. I started off in a place called Morningside close to Centennial college in Scarborough. I have a lots of relatives here in Canada but slowly realised that these so called relatives who are here since 3 decades did not want to extend any help. So I started this journey on my own. Within 3 months I got a job in a retail sector making 11.25 per hr. I used to work nights. It was a very tough job for me but I had to support my family and had no choice. Luckily I had a good hold in driving equipments like Forklifts etc. So I did a small course and got the relevant licence. Next step I started applying for jobs related to Forklifts. I got a job in as a operator with a pay of 17 per hour. I quit my night job and took this day job. Here I met a guy from Kollam who introduced me to a church called IRC . Its International Revival Church at a place called Downsview. Its at 4150 Chesswood Drive Toronto. Malayalam service is from Sunday 9am - 10.30am and English service from 10.30am - 12.30 am.This was the place to be for me and my family. A church full of new immigrants and people who are ever willing to help you by extending all the help you need. A pastor named Pr.John Thomas fully dedicated to help you in all the ways. This was a place for that so called NETWORKING in Canada apart from the best sermons I had heard. Slowly my situation changed. My wife who has to get licensed being in a regulated job made it and thanks to all the sisters who extended all the help with books, materials and tips in securing it. I am really Blessed after I started going to this place.
Slowly I am moving to another place where our jobs are assured with the help of the church members.
So to sum up do not give up. When one door shuts up GOD opens a new one.
All brothers and sisters are most welcome to this place to be blessed if you feel no one is there in this far off country.

Please type this in you browser and here the Pastor John Thomas message .

Thank you Bro.Jose for the information..It is very encouraging for beginners like me..
