Hi Inexperienced,

I sent it from Delhi, India by DHL. And I can see that it is at Sorting facility at Halifax Canada.

Just needed to know, you sent from where & by which courier. And hat is the current status?

Cheers!

I send it from Delhi India...but my bad luck via DTDC....they have a tie-up with TNT....so I am coordinating with DTDC and TNT. Talked to TNT...they said that the package is in NS.....states online shows forwarded for delivery...that is after it reached Toronto.

The Courier address was never the first one you are indicating. The first one is the regular mail address. The second one was & is the correct mailing address for Courier.
Just convey the Courier Company the 2nd address stating them to deliver it at this address. Tell them its a Govt. Organization & their is no particular person who will receive the package.

Hi Yukon, page 36 of EG7, dated July 2010, stated courier address as:

Citizenship & Immigration Canada
Federal Skilled Worker
Centralized Intake Office
Attn.: SW1 - NOC # _ _ _ _ PO BOX 7500 Sydney, NS
B1P 0A9

I did courier my package at above address and the package was received by an officer on 3 July 2010 (yesterday, I see his name and time received). I am not sure if the package reached the correct destination after change of address, but hope it will be conveyed to the correct department for consideration.

Hi Coffee,

Can u provide with the following details about your dispatch:

- Sent from:
- Sent through courier or ordinary mail (if courier, then which one?)
- when did u dispatch ur file
- Which NOC

Thanks

Courier companies do not sent mail to PO Boxes. It is likely that it was re-routed to another address. Anyway while the PDF version states it should be sent to the PO Box, this webpage states otherwise - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG76.asp

Hi Tamasek,

They changed the pdf version yesterday. As with Coffee I sent my application to the pdf address. and actually u r right and lucky that ur courier guy caught the error. Lets hope inexperienced coffee are also lukcy

Hi Inexperienced,

-Moscow
-Courier, Pony Express
-29 July 2010 dispatch (never had changed address)
-1122

Mr Coffee's file reached there. Even with a Post Box no. So he is lucky (coz courier guys dont accept Post Box address)

How did the courier accept Inexperienced's packet is also a mystery. At least they asked for more details from Inexperienced. And now it will be delivered at the right address. So even Inexperienced is lucky.

With me the courier guy saw the address and corrected it from the website. So we all are lucky (at least with our files reaching there :))

No need to worry its reached, since u have got a confirmation. Just keep an eye for ur file number.

CANADA121.....I so hope u r right.....I am not sure whether they will change the address.....but again....just praying to god

canada121, apologies for confusion.

Lady at express service told me they did not send docs to PO box, but I already ran out of space for the PO Box, so used only destination dept (i.e. CIO), and provided ZIP code (state and country were included of course). She required to include name and I wrote 'imm. officer', and did not provide phone number (coz I did not know it). In the address area I also wrote: CIO, Federal Skilled Worker, Attn: NOC 1122

My package appears to reach the destination, it was accepted by a person named MacNamara yesterday at 10:37.

Dear Coffee,

WOW, so we look forward to you for all the good information as you seem to be ahead of most of us.

Good Luck!!

whoa. this almost had me. I am about to send my application 2 days from now. I'm glad this topic was created.

There is a new instruction in the instruction guide.

it says something like: On the envelope, list the NOC codes in the order of preference according to question 12 of the Schedule 3 - Economic Classes - Federal Skill Workers form.

Now my question is, if sending by courier, do we also paste the address on the envelope? if so, where do we put in the "new" instruction as mentioned above.

I'm planning to paste the address also on the envelope, aside from the courier packaging. this is to make sure it won't get lost once the envelope is removed from the courier packaging.

Dear blueray333,

The new instruction is just to write ur NOC code (under which u are applying).
And you have to write the NOC on the address itself (on the blank space left ahead of NOC _ _ _ _ for the purpose)

So you just write or paste the address on the envelope itself alongwith the NOC _ _ _ _.
(If you are sending by courier, the courier guy will put your envelope in their own packaging material, and write the same address himself on that)

Hope that helps!
Good Luck!!
