whoa. this almost had me. I am about to send my application 2 days from now. I'm glad this topic was created.

There is a new instruction in the instruction guide.

it says something like: On the envelope, list the NOC codes in the order of preference according to question 12 of the Schedule 3 - Economic Classes - Federal Skill Workers form.

Now my question is, if sending by courier, do we also paste the address on the envelope? if so, where do we put in the "new" instruction as mentioned above.

I'm planning to paste the address also on the envelope, aside from the courier packaging. this is to make sure it won't get lost once the envelope is removed from the courier packaging.

I put all docs in my envelope, sticked CIO address label on it from the instruction guide (note that mailing address changed yesterday, through), sealed my envelope and told courier to pack it in their one.

You note that the new requirement says to mention NOCs as preferred, this is confusing to me. I would stick to my NOC (1122) and not mention anything else (and be like fish in deep waters :D)

We can not do anything on this.

The VO can see the date (on the forms) when we sent our application.

And anyways, they are THEIR FORMS, not ours, they can see that as well. We just fill them as required at that moment of time.

Moreover, we dont have any control on that anymore.

So I will just chill & have some Coffee !! ;)

lol... good one Canada121

Hi Coffee

Even My application is also received by person with the name of M.MACNAMARA on 26th July but unfortunately I have not mentioned my NOC code on the packet.

Is there any problem due to this.

Need advice from Form members on this.

Hi Sachin, I can't say that this is a problem. I did not come across a requirement to put a label on an envelope, I did so voluntarily and it was my own initiative. When mailing, you must have clearly mentioned your NOC. On top, all your forms refer to your selected NOC, so I believe you should be fine.

Sachin

Dont worry it will be sorted out once the envelop opened, if ur application is filled correctly with NOC there will be no probs at all. These are the small things we keep us worrying so realx and best of luck

Same thing I was planning. But with an added minor step. So I stick the address on the envelope, and on the other side, where the flap of the envelope is, i'm planning to write something like:

Order of preference
NOC #3112
nothing follows...
