Hi all,

I'm writing this post on behalf of a friend, can you please share your recent experiences on having someone mail you the PR card abroad via courier after your brief landing trip?

Are the courier services open to it? Did you receive your pr card in your home country without any problems/ delays due to customs or etc? Is there anything to worry about when taking this step?

Thanks in advance,

I couriered mine just last month. It went smooth. However, it is important that you sent them within other papers. Just don't send them naked. Customs will open them, but if they find them in a sealed envelope or box with magazine or letters, they wont open it. My envelop was also cut and opened; but they did not opened the envelop i put inside with some other letters.

No custom issue in destination country also.

I used UPS. But I don't recommend them. They left it there for two days without any proper reasoning before moving it. Use FedEX!

I used UPS two years ago and for express delivery I pay more than 100$. It was from Canada to Europe and it came for 2-3 days (I think).
