I applied outland spousal-sponsored through the U.S. as I am a U.S. citizen. The other day I received my PPR and I am trying to decide if I want to spend the time, money, and effort to go to Buffalo in person and get my visa, or if I want to mail it in. So I was curious as to how long it might take.

Now, if I am understanding the form correctly, if I am in Canada (which I am) I mail it to this address in Ontario, but I cannot show up there in person, if I want to do it in person I have to go to Buffalo. Is this accurate?

If so, if I mailed my passport overnight and included a prepaid self-addressed overnight envelope in with the whole shabang for them to return it in, how long might it take to get it back? Because if we're talking months here, I will just go to Buffalo.

Check out the buffalo thread, they have this stuff nailed.
