Hi guys,

I received my eCOPR on 25th August 2025. After three months, I contacted IRCC regarding my PR card, and they informed me that it was already sent on 17th December 2025.

My PR application was based in Quebec, but I moved to Ontario in the meantime. They now say the card was sent to my old address. I had already activated mail forwarding, but it looks like the mail was not forwarded and may have been delivered to my old unit.

Has anyone experienced something similar recently?

Thanks for your support!

Since you paid the fees with Canada Post to forward your mail and it wasn't delivered then apply to have your PR card replaced. Use new address. Now the mail strike may have backlogged your mail too. How many months did you purchase - 4 or 12 months?

You have to keep in mind that all mail is not forwarded

Example . I renewed my healthcare card here in Ontario. Received it , but the envelope said “ Do not forward “
Got a new credit card . Envelopes says “ Do not forward

PR cards are not forwarded

I heard that PR card envelopes are marked “Do Not Forward,” so Canada Post does not forward them to a new address and instead delivers them to the old unit. I activated the mail forwarding for 12 months,

Why would they forward your PR card if you applied to settle in Quebec. The bigger issues is to you actually attempt to settle in Quebec. If you left within 3 months it would be tough to show that you did.
