Hi,

I need some help!
We (Me and husband) just applied for PR.. CEC NS received the documents today..

I just noticed that we made 2 errors in the forms..
1. Husband forgot to sign the Family Information Form - he as supposed to sign at 2 places, however, we missed one.. where it says.. "I confirm that above statement is true and ........"
2. In Personal History, where we have to write City, Country - By Mistake We Wrote - "Delhi, Canada" instead of "Delhi, India"

What should I do? Please adviceee

These are very identifiable mistakes and the office who scrutinizes these applications will mark them and return them for correction. Await for the package, correct them and resubmit the package.

Please follow the checklist and the Guidelines for filling the forms from CIC site.

They are very useful and informative in every stage of filling the form. Try to validate the forms with another member who is not a part of the application say a family friend, this will help in correcting those glaring mistakes.

Sorry to say, but await and resubmit the package.

Yeah I know I did a careless mistake.. even my lawyer did not see them..

My Lawyer who is a renowned one in TO, asked me to wait until we get the AOR, then we can update the forms..

I hope they dont reject app bcoz of these errors..

You application wil not be rejected for sure for these silly mistakes. Either your application will be returned within a month or if it is not returned and you are lucky enough to get the AOR, you can send the updated forms immediately quoting your File#, Full name, Client ID, DOB, Class under which applied, Passport #
