Don't expect the passports within this year. Most probably we will get our passports in the 2nd week of January 2013.

Why do u think we can't get it in Dec 2012. The London office is supposed to courier back to all GCC countries, so royal mail dates do not affect us. Don't u think so? Who is ur agent BTW - if u don't mind sharing

Normally all passports to be delivered to GCC countries are send in bulk to Canadian High Commission - Abu Dhabi. AD office will approach Aramex to deliver the respective passports to the receipient (i.e - LVO doesn't directly courier the passports to us).
My consultant resides in Canada itself. If you provide me any other channel of communication I can share any sensitive information.

I believe so far they did not stamp the visas on our passports. In case if they stamp the visa on our passports then our e-case status will change to "decision made"..

The question is as asked b4 by Samy, how many got their passports back with visa with e-case status "in process", i read about that happened but with NDVO

Also as mentioned b4 in another thread , that they stamp the visa then a week after the status changes !

I think we didn't hear any one who go the visa with "in process" from LVO....

I've just read in another topic, they stamped the visa for some1 on 26th OCT and the status has changed on Nov 2nd , i hope that they did stamp our visas and it is on the way to us Insha'allah

FYI... the diplomat bag of LVO reach Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi every alternative week...meaning twice a month they send passports back to the applicants...

I got my passports back last Dec 13 and i beleive thats the last for this month coz a frend of mine received his passport last Dec1...

expect some of you will hear good news on the first week of next year...

Why I am emphasizing this aspect is bcos for next 2 Tuesdays in a row, Dec 25 & Jan 1, there may be no ecas update 'cos of Christmas & New Year holidays resp.

If ur friend got his on Dec 01, the Dip bag must have reached CHC Abu Dhabi sometime in the last week of Nov. I am sure it takes 2-3 days to despatch by Aramex & receipt by applicant. In that case, it is possible for us to get sometime early Jan - as u said. But what if our ecas doesn't change until then???

As far as i know LVO only closes December 25 and 26 ...and January 1 only...excluding weekends..
meaning they are still updating and process your application... in some cases there are some isolated applications that they already gone the entire process but still ECAS showing "In Process"...

Two friend of mine got their PPR but still Ecas showing "In Process"...

When do they Received your PP? pls post your timeline and location too. tnx
