LPP completed - delay in oath ceremony

Hi everyone,

My LPP was completed on February 27 and I've been waiting for my oath ceremony to be scheduled ever since. My local event office is Ottawa. I have called IRCC and sent a webform, only to receive the standard reply that my application is in progress, nothing needed from me, they'll get in touch in due course etc etc

Has anybody else been waiting for their oath for months now (after LPP completion)? Let's keep each other updated!

My LPP was completed on May 9, 2025, I got an invitation (May 30, 2025) for an in-person ceremony (Ottawa) on June 5, 2025. Because I had a conference scheduled on that day, I requested that my ceremony be rescheduled, but I haven't received any confirmation yet. I am under the impression that the Ottawa office manages things a bit differently from other offices. This is merely an observation, as I have noticed that after LPP is completed, an invitation for a ceremony is announced on the tracker within days.

If it is of value, my AOR was January 7, and I applied on December 23, 2024. Fingers crossed everything starts moving these days.

Thanks so much for replying! I have finally got a ceremony date on my tracker (June 25). Fingers crossed...Hope you hear back from them with a new date really soon. Did they acknowledge your email?

Yes, they did. I also sent a web form yesterday to make sure they don't deem me a no-show. I need to wait now.
