If you can score 700+ then I'll say go for it. With regards to the Retail Management program, you'll have a tougher time not only for your visa application but also but the Retail Management program. However, if you can convince them why you are pursuing it and its progressing to your previous studies then more power to you.Yeah, I understand. But offsetting my academics is what I'm looking for. I know the rest of my profile is great apart from the academics so I'll have an edge there. This is an incredible resource. Wow, thank you so much for this.
Can I just ask you 2 questions that have been really confusing me:
1. Should I retake GMAT for a 700+ for like the top unis? I would do it but it seems to me the higher GMAT for places like Ivey or Smith's isn't going to make a difference due to my GPA. What is your opinion on it? I can write it in the last week of Feb to still make most of their deadlines. Also, Since Desautels retail management is a brand new program, do you think I have a shot there/worth applying? I mean I know it's McGill but you know, brand new.
2. If I apply for an engineering course as well as management in the same uni, does that hamper my chances of getting accepted in either? Like I'm trying to sort of have a plan B if MiM's don't work out, but I'm unsure if doing this is the right thing. Would love your opinion on this as well.
Hope I'm not overstepping the favor, you've already been really helpful. Thanks a ton for that!
If you can get 700+ then I suggest you look at some MBAN/MMA programs
