There's a guy who is a "friend" of my BIL. Now I love my BIL, he's a nice dude and he's funny. But this "friend" CONSTANTLY belittles French Canadians or Canadians in general. Now that my BIL has wonderful me in his family, he had to tell this "friend" to STFU several times... But he doesn't ::)

My husband makes those types of comments too. About all sorts of groups. I actually tore him a new one in the truck one day over Asians. Seeing as how my SIL and middle brother's gf are both Asian. My internet daughter is Asian too.

The funniest part is my SIL agreed with my husband's comments about Asian driving. Gee, thanks, Sis! :P

My husband has realized I take multi-culturism very seriously and shut up. For the most part. I am also 110% anti-PC as one person can get. I make Bill Maher look like a noob 8)

I passed Legal Issues *dances*

Politically Correct.

I know nothing about Canadian politics and I wish to keep it that way. There are no adjectives to describe the amount of disillusion I feel towards the political/corporate system in the US and Canada.

That made more sense haha.

Sadly, I know more than I want to. Only because almost everything affects me (Being that I'm on disability and I'm a woman -.-.. and the fact my husband is passionate about US politics). I've even got an opinion on the Jodi Arias thing. We've been watching it all along. Tony said plainly "She looks like she's a serial killer... GUILTY!" LOL

and RE: Tuyen. His account is still on here so I would assume he's on a beach somewhere :P

You sound like my wife and most of her friends, (no interest in politics, they're all the same, etc) until Harper started talking about sending people to jail for smoking pot. That kinda convinced them there are some big differences, or at least big enough to directly effect them.

You have to pay some attention, even if it's only to make sure the party that's the least bad gets elected.

I think they're all bad. I have paid attention significantly. The more I pay attention, the most pissed off I get.

I'm severely allergic to pot smoke - thanks upstairs neighbor!

That smell is awful. I have neighbors that smoke pot too, I just can't figure it out which one. I so want to report them.

You both miss the point entirely, it's not about whether or not you like pot. It's about not paying attention or giving a damn about the people running the country until suddenly it affects you, then being outraged.

And that kind of apathy is why there are so many scumbags in office

Yay Monday is gone. Just counting the hours to be in my hubby's arms again <3

Well you have your opinion. I have my own. It has a lot more to do with people lacking critical thinking skills and being able to see past their own needs/wants and look at the bigger picture.

Uhh sorry but I didn't even read your post lol. Sir Amikety's comment reminded me of my neighbors who are stinky.

Ahhhhh my allergies are starting now...not as bad as last year's. My hubby thinks its cute when I sneeze. ::)

It took me two and a half hours to get home today. >:(

Some sneezing is cute! I had 'fun times' with allergies last year - my first spring in Calgary. Hopefully I adjust to it and can go without a runny nose for 3 months straight.

Must. Remember. To. Book. Appoint. For. Asthma.
