Thanks! We all survived another round of family parties and mall crowds. Woo hoo.

I survived by attending no family parties and not going to the mall..... minor details.

I mostly bought power tools, so I went to Home Depot. Imagine me walking home carrying a big drill case. Across McLeod.....

We only got invited to one family party. My family lives too far away and knows I won't attend. They don't bother to invite me anymore (thank god). My sister-in-law invited us over for their Poker Christmas Eve...... yeah NO thanks. That means a house full of smokers. Smoking + my asthma = very sick Amikety

That I would have loved to see.. was in the freezing slippery temps or the slushy chinook like weather??? And I have to say you are lucky.. I am looking forward to spending next Christmas with my in-laws in the sun and at the lake!

It was Black Friday. I think it was freezing cold.

If anyone cares, the power tools have already come to great use. My husband put up two shelves, fixed a cabinet door, and build me a stand for my mixer. He wants to build some more things too

I'm totally going to buy him new tools every year.............. mwa haha!

It's been so quite around here!! Today things got back to normal-ish for us with school starting again after winter break. Now we are getting into the "selling of almost all of our worldly possessions" faze of immigration! At least I'm old hat at cross country/continent moves now with this being my 10th I think... crazy!!!

it's been about two months since our file has been with the VO. i know it's unreasonable but i am so anxious now! I had the patience of a saint only a few weeks ago. What happened to me???

I just applied for an Amex card online :-X but I'm thinking it will come up handy as they give some cash back on gas and groceries. May be I'll buy a sword too! My neighbours are driving me crazy. What the heck do they do in the middle of the night, it seems that can't stop walking around.
