Funny story from the gym:

I go to an all women's facility but on Sunday mornings there is a spin class that men can come to. This morning the trainer told us to 'squeeze the box'. We all looked at each other kind of strangely and one of the guys asked, 'what kind of gym is this, and can we come more often?' The trainer was confused and we said you told us to 'squeeze the box'. She said she didn't know what we were thinking but she was referring to 'pedalling in time to the music.....' :P

I bet you started to squeeze the sh*t out of your box!! And 1 and 2 and 3 Squeeeeeze, Tilt and Thrust!!!

I spent all day cleaning the house and for some reason it looks even worse than when I started! >:(

Also I've always wanted to try spinning but I'm too chicken.

Wud up posse!

Welcome back M&M!!!

BB go to a class!!! It's okay to feel like a chicken, we all have those moments in life. Just think of how great and empowered you will feel after you just do it!!!!!

Ohhhh the confidence gained after all the box squeezing and thrusting!!!! You won't be the same person when you walk out of the class from when you first walked in.

I posted this on the KG thread so please don't call me out for posting it twice and how annoying I am Tuyen. :D

Please advise.

Question for everyone!!

Here here....

In order for CIC to issue a valid PR visa, does the police certificate have to be valid/unexpired?

It only mentions the medical or passports being valid in order to issue a valid PR visa but nothing about police certificate.

Reason being is hubbie is planning on redoing it on Tuesday. Just wouldn't want him to redo it if it's not required for CIC to issue the visa.

Moonie, I wouldn't redo the police certificate unless your VO requests it. The last time I checked (which was a really long time ago, so I might be misinformed now) the police certificate is good as long as the certificate is received by CIC within 60 days of the issued date. CIC may or may not request a new one, but I guess it all depends on the VO.

Great question; thanks for asking it HM! I've been harping my husband about getting it redone because his expired on Dec 31.

Edit: Yes, you are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo annoying! ;)

Why do you automatically assume it would be ME who would get on your case about it??

And don't worry about the police certificate. They would only ask for a new one if it's been expired for a long while (close to a year) if the original one was clean. But if there were even minor infractions on the first one, they'll definitely ask for a new one. However, I assume Mr. Halfmoon has been behaving himself, so I'm sure his original one will be fine.
