:P Enjoy your shower!

Are your hubbies good at giving gifts? Mine is terrible :-X He didn't receive gifts when he was a child so he doesn't understand the concept. He told me he always looks for things for me but he is scared I won't like them. I have told him so many times I will love it just because it comes from him. He still doesn't get it. I'm starting to think that I just need to get used to the idea he shows his love other ways, but I loooooooooove giving gifts, it's the way how I show anybody my love (family, friends, my hubby).
So what are your thoughts? Am I crazy? :-X

Nah, you're not crazy! My husband and dad are similar in some aspects to your husband. All I do is give my husband a list (my dad doesn't buy for me, that's mom's job haha) and I go shopping with my dad for mom to save his butt. I find the list works well :) But word of warning... BE SPECIFIC... Once I asked for socks from my dad one year when my mom was bogged down at work and he got me work socks :'( I have never been that sad over SOCKS before!!!

I've gotten some real stinkers from my husband... As in things I have said "I don't want that."

So this year, I would text him X item is at X store for X dollars and it's in X colors (or other details). You should get it before the sale ends/it's sold out. I'm having trouble finding him things instead this year....... ;)

Although I'm really scared of that box under the tree. I told him repeatedly we don't have room for a stand mixer. If it's a stand mixer, I will happy and ticked at the same time! :)

Have I mentioned how "fun" it is to get gifts from a man who is color blind?

He can only see red, black, and white well enough to tell them apart. It's scary.

It's so hard to buy gifts for men.

For the MEN in here, give us some ideas!! PUH-LEAZZZE!!

I bought a very inexpensive watch for my hubby last year and on one of my visits I got angry over something silly and took the first thing in site and dashed it across the room.....conveniently it was his watch. Oh my gosh the look on his face!!! :o :o I felt so bad because in that very moment I realized how much he loved that watch.

Sorry off topic.

One time he was ignoring me so I took the water tray and introduced it to the back of his head. (It was plastic).

He started to laugh at me. :-\

:D you made me laugh

Last time he got a pair of really fuzzy warm socks. They were sooo cute and he showed them to me on skype. He told me I could wear them in the house since he knows I'm always cold. I thought it was soo cute but then when I looked at them a little bit closer....I asked him "uhmm what size are them'" my hubby: " ::) 9 " me: " :-X I'm six " my hubby: " oh ::) " so I let it go...when I got there and I saw them in person, they fitted perfectly. So now, just in case there future episodes like this, I always try to mention my size :P

oh and I hello ladies and gents!!! got a late start again :D

Okay, so I've posted on Kijiji looking for work. Here is a real reply I got to my ad today (I removed contact info):

Hello! The following is a reply to your "BlahBlah" Ad on Kijiji:

From: Rick/Lynn(XXX @ XXX.com)
Moved back to Canada from Brazil in the Oil & Gas and calling Calgary home. We had someone come by the apartment once a week to give a massage. we are a professional couple in our early 40"s and both fit, fun and mature. Seeking someone who is mature, confident and who loves giving massages. Not seeking someone who is a therapist but rather someone who would look forward to a night out and who would, in time, give a great massage (keeps getting better each time). Would pay $40/hr and commit to 2.5 hrs each time. Just has to love giving a massage that is soft and gentle. We have everything (oil, table, candles & music). Certainly hope I didn't offend. Perhaps Sunday evening? Rick

Am I wrong to think these people are wanting a threesome???? Holy crap, I know for a fact there's RMTs in Calgary because my friend is one!

On top of that, mobile massage is at the cheapest $75/hour! I mean - that's the exact business my friend runs!

I reported these losers.

Hahahahahaha I've seen similar ads for roomies. :o

I felt sorry for this lady the other day who was buying shoes. We are both total strangers but she looks at me and say " hey, what do you think, are they black or grey? do you like them?" Me: "Oh I think they are blue and they are cute!" I threw an 'I think' there because I didn't want to be rude but a few seconds later I thought Oh she's color blind
