We applied outland on April 2 and got approved in Mississauga on May 18 and received a letter of sponsorship approval and transfer to Buffalo on May 26.We have received a letter asking us to send in the police clearances on August 11.
We got our clearances in May and mailed them May 19 to the Case Processing center in Mississauga as we had no knowledge of our file at that time.
Repeatedly we have asked the Buffalo section if they have received them from CPC.
Initially we got informed that we need to contact CPC and ask them to send the certificates, assuming they had not sent them we contacted CPC after much delay and they informed us that they sent our police certificates via diplomatic mail to Buffalo on may 27.
Up on further following up with Buffalo there is no response for 2 weeks and now they emailed us " we do not have your police Certificates"
You are well aware that getting police clearances again from different countries involves bureaucratic delays and will unnecessarily delay our application. Any suggestions are welcome
