Lost Credit Card While Application is under Process with CIC

you cant do much about it now ....you can just try to send a letter of application as a try if they process your application with new credit card info.

Other way is jus wait for the file to come back and file it again with certified cheque this time ..this way you are losing time atleast 2 or 3 months !!

may be next time for additional caution - we should submit cover letter stating that if CC is blocked then request to check for any information on the same in a mail or email. Mostly our UCI is our clientid and we can add the same. just a thought
 
^Just attach 2 payment info sheet, if one really insists on using credit card and wants to make sure.
You can always ask for a refund if you get double-charged.

What did you do with your credit card? Are you waiting for your application to be returned or looking for other solutions? like Mr. Goku has suggested?
 
Don't worry, just send new form stating your situation. My credit card was blocked as well and I sent new form with letter stating reason. They charge my CC on October 2.

Hi All,

i tried all the options , i send them new credit card details by xpress post and email them about my sitiuation but no luck still waiting for my application to be returned.

Unfortunately it didnt work for me , planning to submit a new application so that at least i can come under this year Quota.
 
i am in same situation, on Monday ill send a bank draft insted a credit card new info! i have all ready sent a mail to CIO-Sydeny explaining my situation. by mail ill send a new fee form, bank draft and cover letter!

ill post here my results...

What do you mean by it didnt work. can you please share more details, so that it will be helpful to others as i have seen many people are facing same issue. by the way when did you submit your application and when did you send your new credit card details.

I am also in same situation and waiting a reply from CIC. I already sent hard copy of new Credit card with cover letter and email them also. But so far no reply. I think like you they will send back my original application and then only I can update my Credit card info. My worry is now in Jan2015 they are closing this CEC category and may be in 2015 I need to arrange some more papers etc. So just worried about CIC process timings.

what is your update here? what happened next? did you get back your application or was you able update your Credit Card info with CIC ? please update.

Also, incase you got back your original application and then you sent back application with updated Credit card, how much time they took to deduct payment after you sent back your application with updated Credit card info? was it same wait time as in original first application (2 months) or did your second application / payment deduct faster ?

so did you able to update your Credit card info without AOR? i means, did you sent CIC a new Credit card info and they updated the same in your original application?
what all you did, please could you explain ?

I sent updated CC details but they did not considered it. I sent them 1 month ago. Yesterday my old cc charged not new one. Good thing is my old cc still alive.

As second view, they would have considered my new cc if my old cc died by the time of transaction.

But as Mr. Goku has suggested send new CC details.

Have your tried contacting CIC? I am just throwing ideas as I remember someone suggesting this earlier on one of the thread here.. call CIC and ask them if they could put another credit card details on your profile and the VO can use that information to process the payment?
 
Can anyone please provide me the actual address and letter format , I applied through a consultant, My consultant is saying wait for AOR but I dont want to wait till that long. I am in same scenario , my Birth certificate has no name on it and I want to send new secondary certificate, please please please guide me . Please provide me email address and postal address as well. Even my cc has not charged and haven't received AOR yet. CIC received my file on octuber 24,2014.
