I was looking at awor's transfers spreadsheet, (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqWjgVnQfJ9adFkxWHNTbm5qeHBBTEtYc2JfemJ1cWc#gid=0) the longest I see for LA is 89 days. But that's when Buffalo transferred them. That's why I started the spreadsheet to find out and help others figure out how long it might be.

As for the charges, considering he wasn't arrested or anything, I'd say he's okay. It's not like he killed someone or was a drug lord or anything LOL

I am not listed on the Spreadsheet for Transfer....

My application was sent to Buffalo in May 5, 2011, and sometime in May or June to LA. I did not find out until Aug that it had been transferred, and upon further investigation by my MP, found out that the original PPR was supposedly sent June 30, 2011...It was not very long from transfer to approval...now this is all before Buffalo closed so that likely has something to do with it...

Here is the link https://services3.cic.gc.ca/epayweb/Welcome.do?&lang=en

On the request for RPRF ( i was writting this wrong before) you should have a fax number or e-mail.
Send them a copy with the receipt.

And yes you can pay by credit card!

Thanks for adding me ;) It is so nice to have other people here sharing the same experience. It makes it a bit easier. I do have a quick question. When I received my completed police clearance record I noticed there was a mistake made in my last name (r switched for a b). I figured my birthday and social security were correct, so I sent it in with my application hoping for the best. Does anyone here know if that will be a problem? Would you suggest requesting another police record just in case since it takes a whole 6 weeks?

welcome to the waiting forum...
i guess there would be no problem for a minor mistake for name ...you have your date of birth and social security correct. but if i would be on your place i would go for another fbi record because that takes a while. (to be on safer side...its better to spend $18 rather than waiting after they asked for it)

So I finally got through after calling about 15 times! I spoke with the nicest lady EVER!!! I wish I could always talk to her everytime I call. She was so professional and kind. She didnt give me the usual response of not having access to my file. Instead she opened my file and told me all that she could about it. I was told my file was forwarded to Los Angeles for final review so it will be another 60-90 days. I hope it's sooner than that but at least its something right? I have at least a time frame. And they said they have my medicals even though Ecas doesnt show it. There is movement!!!!!

I cant believe Im this excited about another potential 3 month wait but the news could be worse so I am happy

Have a nice weekend everyone!! Stay positive!

Nice to hear some news Happylaw. On ECAS does it show "in process" when you check it? I'm just curious.

It does as of August 23rd! But it doesnt say anything about the medicals being received.

Well, you said they have them, so nothing to worry about. I just can't believe that a final review would take 60-90 days!!! YIKES! Ours went into in process on August 21, so maybe a bunch of our files are just waiting final review in LA. Good to know though!

@ LA Visa Office
why are you taking more work loads by having a final review..Ottawa has done that ! just give the visa and copr man ! finish the work...
(and let us live a stress free life ;) )

I am hoping that 60-90 days is a maximum range and not a minimum so I HOPE it will only take maybe a few weeks or a month. But that's just me hoping.

I have heard that the standard procedure is for Ottawa to transfer it to a US assigned visa office (in my case it's LA) so I HOPE that means they are transferring it for a CORP!!! I hope final review=automatic corp, fingers crossed! :)

So far for us it's been about 21 days since going in process. I'm hoping for 30ish days
