Hi I'm thinking of moving to Alberta, currently im 32 and working as a IT support for a year now. I have a brother currently work and live there as PR and he's suggesting me to move here for a change. I used to study at Alberta and graduated with a diploma but went back to my home country due to financial strain. So if I take IELTS and with a year of foreign experience, what are the pathways/chances i could take to immigrate there?

Having a brother there no longer is an advantage. Look at Express Entry pathway through AINP. Get a job offer and enter the pool for the Tech Pathway. There are probably close to 3000 in that pool for a few hundred spots. Focus for AINP is on those living and working in Alberta unless in healthcare. If UK or European citizen then look at IEC/working holiday visa. Or LMIA with job offer.
