Dear all,

I got my MR / PCC request / RPRF ....today after almost 100 days(after PER receipt!) from LVO......2nd line update is not seen in ECAS!!
FYI, my application date was Aug 8th, PER date Nov 30 and NOC 2132.

Whomsoever waiting, pls maintain your patience and hope for the best.....safar kha phal meeta hotha hai!!

Or Do they allow to collect the passports back by person , please can some one confirm ?

You can use same courier service to get passports back , for self collection you need to request VO

NOC2133
Application Date: 28th May 2014
PER Date: 22nd September 2014
MR received: 11th March 2015
ECAS status: just single line

what does this reply means on inquiry of status? Last status - Spouse medical done in 21 jan 15, 3rd line updated on 26th Jan 15.
have they done Background checks or they are about to do so?

I have received MR. May I know, if it all goes well, and they ask for passports where shall we have to send our passports ( to London or Canadian High Commission in Pakistan)? If to London, is it legal to send passports via courier

My dear friends and forum members, Hope you all will be good.

I apologize for not thanking you for your supports through out the process. I was so excited and scared yesterday that I didnt know wht to do next. Mix feeling of happiness and tension. Alhamdulillah I submitted my and family passprts for visa in vfs Riyadh. Now dont know how much time they will take to stamp it. I am planning to land in mid of April Inshallah. I have lots to do. Packing, Planning Shopping........ I have some concerns regarding PR. What will be the procedure of rcvng the PR cards? Do I have to stay there until I receive the cards? If yes then how long do I have to stay there? Is it possible that I come back and if my wife stays there and rcvs our PR cards then she comes back to Saudi? Secondly how much money we have to carry with us? we are 4 people. Me my wife and 2 kids? Do we have to carry same ammount in form of drafts that we showed as proof of funds for four people or what? And how should we carry the money? We are just going for landing and will settle later so should we cargo our belongings now or later as I have heard that when landing for first time there is no tax on first cargo. I have lots to take but I will not have place to keep the things as I am planning to settle at the end of this year. Me and my wife are planning to cargo Kitchen needs and our living room set. My elder bro and his family actually took all their belongings specially whole kitchen stuff. As shopping of dishes and cookware is expensive there. Please suggest us best possible way.

You need to collect PR cards in person , and this might take anything from 30 days to 06 months
You need to carry funds as advised by CIC for family of 4 , that comes out to be around CAD 25,000/-
Kitchen stuff is relatively cheap , and of good quality in Canada

I want to inform you that my ECAS 3rd line updated in February 2015, I also paid RPRF fees and additional documents in February 2015. How much time it is required by LVO to make a decision. When Can I expect the request for Passport request
