Dear friends,

How long does it take to complete security and criminality? I got my latest caips notes last week in which it was mentioned that criminality and security not started yet whereas Eligibility and Medicals were passed. Soon its going to be 2 months sice I submitted my original documents (PCC, RPRF, POF, updated forms, updated info chart and passport copies) but no reply yet. I have seen people getting PPR2 within months, weeks and even days. What is the reason and how are they treating all the cases? And what they do or check in Criminality and Security as everything in our PCC was clearly stated that ''No Criminal Records.'' Do they verify the PCCs again and how? They told us in their first email that they will contact within four months from which 2 are passed. Any one of you facing same situation?

I received the email in which they state four months processing about 118 days ago almost four months and still waiting for PPR.

So just waiting and Praying for best.

Hopefully we all will get good news soon.

Query on vaccination.

Are there any CIC forms to be filled up and signed by Doctor OR any standard doctor's confirmation on his hospital/clinic's letter head required that ....so and so (listing name and month/year) vaccinations are given to child - for admission to canadian school.

Either via Aamer or better still use VFS. You can hand deliver at the embassy too.

1) Previously, members advised that "VFS is not connected with PR stamping". I want to know which will be faster VFS/Canadian Embassy in Abudhabi.

2) Can I provide 'authorized representative - IMM form" and arrange for delivery through my friend in abdudhabi? has anyone done this ? Should I terminate previously appointed 'consultant' as authorized representative for this.

i guess the transfer is a digital transfer and happens when you receive the PER. The only way you can fin out whether LVO is processing your application is by enqiring with LVO about it. You may send an email to LVO saying that " i have received an email stating my positive eligibility. It was also mentioned that my file has been transferred to the visa office. Please let me know in case I have furnish additional documents to progress my application"

From the reply to such an email you can know whether your application has "reached" LVO or not.

I don't think files are immediately transferred. I got PER on 23rd Jan and on 27th Jan I contacted LVO to inform about child birth. The very next day I received reply from LVO confirming my case is not in process at LVO.

I am in the same ship pcc reached 21 DEC 14 and 3rd line updates on 9dec 14. Still waiting for ppr and fees. My VO is BWJ what's urs VO initial?

Alhumdulilah .. I have finally received passport request.

Can any one inform me what is the best way of sending passports to Canadian Embassy in Abu dhabi from Dubai.

I recently sent my passports through Aramex, they charge 100 AED per passport plus the delivery fee of 40 AED, you need to fill return airway bill and send it along with the passports, you also need to send other documents indicated in your PPR such as updated information chart, 2 photos of each applicant and copy of the PPR mail, once your visa will be stamped Abu Dhabi Embassy will use your filled airway bill to send it back to you along with the COPR, you will pay AED 30 at the time you receive your passports to the courier.
