Hi Everyone,

Just a quick query regarding paying the Right of Permanent Residence Fee. I have been asked to pay this by a "bank draft, bank cheque or postal order to the visa office in London

The bank draft, bank cheque or postal order should be made payable to the: Receiver General for Canada"

I am just wondering which banks any of you have used to do this. I have been informed that HSBC and First Direct don'd do foreign bank drafts at all. Halifax bank will do it but will charge £20 and it will take about 5 working days to issue it.

Thanks for your help

As yr friend last taken degree is MBA (University should be recognized by HEC) so the degree (BA Private) before MBA could not matters, private/regular, both are countable if its recognized as required by CIC. Any educational background should be well matched by your professional experiences......Gaps b/w education/unrelated degrees could create problems........Yr education will always analyse by yr job experiences.........As far as points are concern..B.A. Private/regular may contains equal points.

Seniors may en light better

Dear msaeed, Thankyou for the advise.

Please suggest if we have to add short visits to other countries for vacations as well in Personal history question(Q#8) of Schedule A. And in that case what should be mentioned in the last column of "Name of company, employer, school, facility as applicable".

Thanks a lot......

Sir

No
For this purpose they demand "Travel History Forms"

Stay Blessed

Sir

You can pay RPRF on line through credit card also.
Shoot an email to your Visa Officer , and seek his advice for payment using "On-Line "Option

Saeed bhai, I doubt about these points. As per my understanding, Canada never consider any private education. Best way would be to make a sample report on the web of WES and get know either they are considering this MBA equal to masters of Canada. If yes, than s/he will get 21/22 otherwise no point.

our friend luqi got 2nd line added in January 2014 & still there is no update. He raised CSE on this issue and was advised to wait.

I advise you that you should raise CSE ASAP to get some idea about your file updates, if any.

Good Luck
