With all the LinkedIn profile views going around here, I think I made my case a little harder for them, because I didn't have my LinkedIn profile a week ago, made after looking at a lot of comments here ;D haha, I think they are now using other ways to verify me :-\. But none of my current / previous employers have been contacted for any further information (they are located in USA & Canada). But they do have online presence which might be enough for them, BECAUSE, my visa officer actually viewed my Canadian employers website at the same moment when I was being interviewed, along with few of the projects I have done for them.

Mr. Hussein have received a lot of documents from this forum. I guess your documents are delivered at the correct place.

Ha! Yes.. Created after this LinkedIn Discussions. Really never gave it a thought before. Anyway.

You can open up spreadsheet, go to Visa Office Spreadsheet, and you'll get all the details.

yes as im noticing too..pakistani applicants are plunging into 4-5 months background check mostly..so it would be no surprise to us even if ppr comes somewhere in may/june..

For other nationalities v should see ppr's soon like Ibasco :)

but the wait is killing really :(:(:(

See, there is a guesstimate as far as I see the cases who have gotten MR in Jan 2014 (like I had it on Jan 10, 2014).

CSIS website details that they completed 51% cases in 62 days (62 days is turn-around time for 51% that CIC gave to them) in 2011 (no more recent data was available there). While 48% cases took as long as 110 days to be completed (by CSIS)......only 1% cases took 12 months or bit more.

This has established (to a greater extent) that simultaneously with sending MR to applicant, VO sends file details to CSIS for BG security clearance.

For me MR came on Jan 10, 2014. So, if I take 62 working days (suppose I'm too lucky and my BG clearance is going to be completed in 62 days.... ;D ;D), even then 8th Apr would be 62nd day from Jan 10, 2014. And with 110 working days, date would be Jun 13, 2014..............

So, I can safely say that for our cases, BG security clearance process may take as long as Jun 13, 2014.

If it takes this much time, why would visa officers who interviewed us provided "May" as the case finalization date knowing we are from "High Risk" country, i.e. Pakistan and Security check might take a while :-\ LVO seriously does not make any sense.

Well I believe Security Checks are already underway since the day 2nd line added. Now there are two ways LVO will go about MR, 1- After Security clearance, issue medical rprf & when medical received, a quick decision made, 2- send medicals in between, wait for Security to be finished and then Decision made. Both ways, it'll take same time. Point 2 will only make us happy that we are done with our medicals.

Point 1 will give us a greater lead time to enter Canada ;)
