I am thinking to send a CSE to LVO to ask about when should I pay the RPRF....in this way they may advise some further step or may provide some update :)....What do you guys think and suggest :'(?

I changed my mind to send a CSE for RPRF... I dont want them to get pissed off and request me again some updated documents or new PCC etc due to my CSE... Instead of CSE, I am ordering my GCMS notes tomorrow....

Good decision. I have already ordered mine on 25th. lol ;D AND I am thinking to send a CSE next wednesday (5 weeks after interview) just to hello hi with Visa Officer. lol. BUT I am really getting a vibe that next week LVO will definitely make few moves as interviews are all over this week. So maybe they have been holding to send out in batches (the way LVO works).

yesterday morning (UAE time), upon opening my ECAS, i got my third line regarding the results of our medical....then late afternoon, I received an e-mail from LVO requesting for our passports and pictures....cant believe that fast....just to share, CIO recieved our application on the third week of Nov. 2013, then credit card charge of 2nd week of jan. 2014, then PER 3rd week of Jan. 2014.....then file transferred to LVO on 1st week of March 2014, then medical request (along with some updated forms and bank darft) 2nd week of March 2014, third line was yesterday, then hours later our passport request......really, we were surprised....that fast....

Many congrats.

Now it's just a formality. LVO shall stamp your passport and send it back between 15-30 days most probably.

Where were you instructed to submit your passport, London by courier or Abu Dhabi in person?

Many congratulations Ibasco. Now that is what i call good news. Best wishes to you.

So May, interviewed and earlier applicants what is your take on this? LVO are working selectively on applications, because I refuse to believe what they told you after your interviews. All misleading to keep people in expectation. That is my take on this subject. Anyway good luck to us all.

Congratulations once again, Ibasco

According to my point of view, it all depends upon BG security clearance..............see there are certain countries (like unfortunately Pakistan) for whom CSIS has to get a very deep dive for security clearance, so for Pakistanies bit longer BG security clearance should be expected. I am not going into the debate whether it is fair or unfair, but as matter of reality, it so. And, we have to see the reality. (BTW, I feel that is reason LVO didn't call RPRF along with MR coz DD - if RPRF is being paid so - has a limit of validity and at time sending MR, LVO would not be sure for such cases that how much time would be taken for BG security clearance).
On the other hand there are fair amount of applicants who, by virtue of their nationality / country wouldn't be considered as coming from some high risk countries and in all those cases a rapid turn-around (by CSIS) is consequently expected. Rapid turn-around means an early PPR (PPR 1 or PPR 2)........

I agree with you on this one. I hope they process others fast, as not everyone comes from High risk countries

guys, i have one clarification here.

just received my passport request, and i am planning to send it soon....

the thing is I am confused which mailing address i should use, should i use my PO box or my home address...because LVO said they will mail by courier for middle east countries...

hoping for your inputs thanks....

As we need to send passports to LVO....once we get PPR request, is it possie if we request LVO to allow submitting passport to Their embassy in Abu Dhabi? Will they allow this? Also as per passport it is mentioned that it is illegal to send passport from out of coyntry and I also know it doesn't mattr even if you send it but somehow I am not comfortable by sending passport out of my country of residence as it is a very important document....you may need it anytime due to some urgent matter...yes i know its only a psychological thing for me

You must use physical address (home or office) not PO Box as couriers will not deliver to PO Box... LVO used ARAMEX i think in UAE...

My file was submitted on June 14, 2013 and received PER on September 02,2013. Have not yet had any updates since then and extremely annoyed the way LVO is treating applicants. I did apply for a TRV for visiting purposes and annoyingly after a delay of 1 month they did grant the visa for 3 months. I have visited Canada and I think people shouldn't really moan about UK's weather lol!

I had TRV refused 2 times in the past and that was last year. Should I take this grant of TRV visa on a positive note(indicating that my file is under process and because I am under consideration for Immigration)? Or is it because I have had good travel history?(I am living in the UK on a work permit valid until August 2014/have been to USA-5 years visitors visa/ Have been to France and Spain on Schengen)MA and also hold a 18 months valid Australian work permit).

Also I am moving to Australia for good by start of April and if I were to receive any requests for medicals would it delay the process any further? Would my medicals be processed in Australian VO or LVO? Thanks
