Unfortunately what you are pointing out doesn't apply to us, yes they have opened a new office on Harrow Road, but it is not for the processing of FSW PR visas. So yes they will have to move offices from Grosvenor square, as pointed out the address to send documents to is Grosvenor square and not Harrow road. Also the only visas processed at harrow road are

temporary resident (visitor visa, study or work permit) and permanent resident travel

none of these are FSW PR visas, I think you might be confusing the
Permanent resistant travel visas which is as follows
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/travel.asp
and not what we have applied for.

My concerns still stand, I expect that they have sold the offices for the money, obviously, and they are going to have to transfer all of the thousands of paper visa applications to the new offices, which is going to take time and will undoubtedly cause a delay, how much we just don't know, could be days but I expect months. We all know when we move house it takes a while to settle in.

Unfortunately everything is pointing to a long wait period,

1)Nobody has heard anything from the LVO (except to say, "your visas application has been received and the average processing time is 25 months) Not 12 months, like some might think.

2)A lot of other visa offices have not only issued MR but have issues visas this quickly, again nothing from London.

3)London has to process a huge amount of applications a lot more than some offices, so their back log is obviously huge.

4)Some 2010/2011 applicants are still awaiting visas and if London is going to clear this back log first, well who knows.....probably years.

5)Finally to top it off they have just sold the offices where all our visas are...........and they ARE going to have to move them all. Every single one.

6)Oh yeah and the 6 month workers strike at the beginning of all this by the Visa staff, perfectly times in MAY/JUNE.......probably the biggest thing that is going to cause a delay. (sorry forgot that one).

I really appreciate everyone that emails the minster, that is all we can do at present and I just hope he reads them and takes some kind of action.

Thank You
I will be sending the email to minister in a short while. I personally think they not going to finish all 2k10 & 2k11 application first and then start working on our apps, it should be in parallel other wise we have to wait beyond our expectations.

Hey TOM,

Is there still any chance for me to transfer my file to NDVO ? if yes what would be the procedure, and will that be recommended to do it at this point ?

Thanks

My personal findings, so far we have seen GCMS notes from the following LVO Members:-

1. JBZZS (PER issued) on 11 July 2013
2. Jigzyy (PER issued) on 9 July 2013
3. Ahab 1974(PER issued)on 7 August 2013

One thing very similar I have noticed from their GCMS notes. Every one has mentioned about 3 due dates. (1) One immediately after the file arrived in LVO, (2) One some where in dec or jan and (3) 3rd due date is exactly one year from per date (Unique in every one's case).

Here goes their personal quoted dates.

1. JBZZS "My GCMS shows several due dates....21-Aug-13, 13-Dec-13 and the date of exact 1 year after PER ... God knows what's all this...."

2. Jigzzy "Last Due Date: 2013/09/28, Due Date: 2014/07/09 (My PER date in 2013), he had not mentioned about the 3rd date"

3. Ahab 1974 "1. GCMS Notes indicate that my file has been assigned to an officer at the London Visa Office (LVO).

2. The date date for the assignment to the officer is 31 January 2014. This is when I think the file processing is due to begin.

3. There are three subsequent background checks. (i) Security, (ii) Criminality and (iii) Medical.

4. The due date for completion of all three checks is 7 August 2014. That is exactly ONE YEAR from the date the PER was issued. "

Expecting the above highlighted 2nd Due date is the one when they going to start working on our case at the worst.

Cheers

If you have any friend or relative in Canada they can do this for you in 5$. Else you can order this on your own http://www.visafile.info for 25$ check the website to learn more about GCMS notes. Wait for 10-15 days to order the GCMS notes.

Can I ask how many people have so far emailed the minister to help our case?
I have just sent an email to him at "Minister @ cic.gc.ca". I would urge all colleagues to do it, too. We are sooo much behind!!

Really behind and the problem is that if only 4-5 people have emailed then i doubt he will do anything, we need more people of this forum to email.
