Can I ask how many people have so far emailed the minister to help our case?

Dear Sir,

I am one of the FSW2013 applicants whom application is in LONDON visa office.
LVO has not yet started processing any of the 2013 FSWP while other busy visa office such as NDVO started to issue MRs already.

We will be highly appreciating your help by calling LONDON visa office to start processing 2013 FSWP to comply with your statement of processing 2013 FSWP in one year as it is economy oriented program.

We thank you in advance for your understanding

Kind Regards,

The fact that they have sold large six-storey Canadian London embassy building in Grosvenor Square should not create panic in any way. The fact also remains that they could have moved away from this building long ago before selling it now. These guys are not dumb. Such news don't move me at all. A new visa application centre opened in London since May 2nd 2013 to deal with all temporary visa and permanent resident travel document applications. LVO would have made plans long time ago. So why worry? Relax!

agreed. chances are they probably bought another building weeks, if not months, before this news. I would be surprised if the new office is not already occupied and running, granted not to its full capacity yet... organisation like this would probably had everything sorted well before the announcement of the sale. I feel the same that this news dont really phase me either, if anything I personally think it will speed up the process if they are moving into a new, modern, and purpose built office facility, the optimist that i am... :D

lol, I do love the fact your an optimist, reading my previous post I do seem abit of a pessimist. But……. I still stand by what I said should be done. There is no harm in emailing. Optimism won't speed up the process.

My personal findings, so far we have seen GCMS notes from the following LVO Members:-

1. JBZZS (PER issued) on 11 July 2013
2. Jigzyy (PER issued) on 9 July 2013
3. Ahab 1974(PER issued)on 7 August 2013

One thing very similar I have noticed from their GCMS notes. Every one has mentioned about 3 due dates. (1) One immediately after the file arrived in LVO, (2) One some where in dec or jan and (3) 3rd due date is exactly one year from per date (Unique in every one's case).

Here goes their personal quoted dates.

1. JBZZS "My GCMS shows several due dates....21-Aug-13, 13-Dec-13 and the date of exact 1 year after PER ... God knows what's all this...."

2. Jigzzy "Last Due Date: 2013/09/28, Due Date: 2014/07/09 (My PER date in 2013), he had not mentioned about the 3rd date"

3. Ahab 1974 "1. GCMS Notes indicate that my file has been assigned to an officer at the London Visa Office (LVO).

2. The date date for the assignment to the officer is 31 January 2014. This is when I think the file processing is due to begin.

3. There are three subsequent background checks. (i) Security, (ii) Criminality and (iii) Medical.

4. The due date for completion of all three checks is 7 August 2014. That is exactly ONE YEAR from the date the PER was issued. "

Expecting the above highlighted 2nd Due date is the one when they going to start working on our case at the worst.

Cheers

GCMS stands for global case management system.
the visa officer writes notes about the application there,so it should tell you what is happening to your file.

So, to whom VOs are reporting and do you think Minister's statement of 12 month process can be such a commitment action plan?

Sir

Minister committed processing of MI 1 , MI 2 and MI 3 applicants with in 18 months .
See there time lines / average processing times on CIC Web link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/skilled-fed.asp

you will have an idea , that waiting is only option if you want to be a Canadian PR
No rules - Only "Clreck Badshah Rules" - They pick files for processing by following rule " Akar Bakar Bambee Boo................" ,

Stay blessed and calm
