Dear EMEI,

I sent CSE online. The email was straight forward, asking for, if any further information was required to process my application further. But I raised this CSE two months after my MR since I did not get any email for updated docs or RPRF from LVO till that time.

Do not worry for medical exam, it is straight forward process and would take 2-3 hours to complete at IOM center.
1) When you arrive at IOM you will be assigned a waiting number.
2) On your turn you would be asked to provide your PP and the medical request forms that you received from LVO.
3) After data entry you would pay your fees.
4) Then they would take your X-ray.
5) Next would be your blood and urine samples.
6) Finally there would be a physical examination by the doctor.

There is no need to worry, yes you can tell the doctor about your medication. BP not a serious problem therefore would not impact your case. They are looking for any serious concerns with your health, like TB, Hepatitis, HIV, etc etc.

So do not worry and proceed with the medical exam, I wish you good luck and a speedy processing ahead.
Thanks Masshunter. once my third line will be added I will raise CSE in case I didint receive RPRF

@ luqi...............I am anticipating at least around 6 months from date of email from LBM when she told us to wait, you may not hear for some time yet.

In FSW 2013, I do not know anyone else who received similar e-mail to check if he/she has received any update after such e-mail.

I received e-mail on 04/04/2014....So probably I could expect to hear by Sept/Oct 2014. Our PER date is October 2013 so at least we should hear by then..

2 consecutive silent weeks from LVO with no major developments/updates...!

Ya Allah , give all of us some good news in this holy month of blessed Ramadan. Ameen
Ameen. I am sure Allah (swt) will answer our prayers indeed.
This waiting is hectic though.

Dear Friends
This is the first time I am writing anything on the internet through this forum. This is a wonderful forum and I always follow it silently. One question made me to show up.

Last week I received PPR2 and ECAS is showing now decision made.
My wife is expecting and inshAllah due in Jan 2015 and Medicals for me and my wife will remain valid until end of April 2015.

Now here comes the situation, we are planning to land post our child's birth i.e. after Jan 2015.

In view of above situation I have following options in my mind and requesting your feedback:

option 1. If I and my wife submit passports now and go for a short landing before our child's birth and come back before the delivery, later how we gonna apply visa for our child?
option 2. If I inform LVO about the above situation and send all passports (including new born) for stamping after Jan 2015, would it possible that they will add our child to our application and stamp the visas for all? (keep in mind that I and my wife have already received communication for PPR2 last week)

Thank you all in advance.

3rd option, Why don't you & your wife lands and settle there and have the baby there? The baby will be Canadian Born and you will not have to worry about documentation at all. Save yourself with all documentation when you still have time. Your wife cannot land before you (unless she's a PA). You guys have ample time to settle there & get insurance (after 3 months of staying in Ontario). Delivery will be covered under Insurance then.

Thanks a lot JIGZYY for your valuable input. We had your suggestion in our mind but due to some reasons we are staying back.

What is the way around if we remain in that situation?

Out of the 2 you mentioned, Staying here, and waiting for the baby seems to be better option, then adding baby to the application. LVO will ask your passports back, cancel current visas & then stamp them again after the medical of your new born. Now, there are two things that could happen at that stage. Either you'll have to make a quick landing after you get visas (it'll be around in March) BECAUSE your medicals will expire in April 2015, or LVO will delay your case and will ask you for remedicals and then you'll get PPR again, which is very lengthy procedure.

Please decide wisely.

Dear riykhan,

You understand your situation better than anyone. However, the option 3 given by Jigzyy is the best otherwise there must be frustrating delays.

Abu Hassaan said:
Freddy2147,

PR application is closed upon landing of the applicant. Therefore an applicant can withdraw his/her application, add or remove a family member at anytime before landing. PR visa contains the information that how many total members are there and how many will be moving to Canada etc. If an applicant wants to add spouse or child after issuance of PR visa but before landing, then all PR visas issued earlier must be cancelled and new PR visas must be issued to reflect the final information.

But if Principal applicants want to bring spouse to Canada as a PR after landing, then he/she will have to open new file to sponsor his/her spouse. The timeline of sponsorship is totally different and may become headache due to long delays in some cases. Obviously, until sponsorship application is successful, spouse will have to stay on visit visa as per the applicable rules.

Maria,

It is quite frustating that you are alomst completed 6 months from Medical done but still no news of PPR. But I would say that since your RPRF has already been asked, therefore your PPR must not be far now.

My prays are with you and other pals having medical done in January. I am waiting for time when you will report your PPR. :) :) :)
