Yes, this is normal, many are waiting ...this is really a waiting game and good time to pray, but when it starts it goes fast (specially in my case, and specially when LBM is your VO this is what I realised.
Just raise CSE once in 2.5 -3 months ask for your status and the wait patiently.

Secondly, it is a random game, those who got Medicals in Jan & Feb are still waiting. I think it is on your VO speed. Some VO need more satisfaction and they ask for more documents and take more time. So dont worry, you day will come soon.
I wish every forum member fast processing ahead.

Slight changes for acquiring Citizenship.

"Citizenship applicants will need to be physically present in Canada for a total of four out of their last six years. In addition, they will need to be physically present in Canada for 183 days per year for at least four of those six years. These provisions will come into force in approximately a year."

nkalra, I think this bill is not passed, as also mentioned in it....do you think it will effect those who land in Canada in within this year 2014 ? I am afraid if your answer is Yes.

Sorry mate to made you afraid but yes it will be implemented on new comers as well. Bill passed soon going to implement.

Another thing I read it somewhere, don't know going to implement this or no, if you wish to stay for more than 6 months out of Canada you need to update CIC with valid reason n proof to backup your claims.

Welcome to Canada, heart braking for the ones wanted to land n come back for years. Which is very common practice in ME region.

Hi Aceim, u need to obtain a new UK pcc as the one u obtained back in October 2013 has expired. According to cic, pcc submitted should not be more than 3 months old from the date when it was issued. Premium service for UK pcc takes 2 days to process for £80 or standard processing for £45 (2 weeks). All the best.

I guess 3 years n18O something days a year is a current rule.

They are not fools, they knows how people miss use PR n citizenship like retirement plan.

My friend is in Ottawa. She applied for FSWP to the CPP-O (Ottawa) Visa Office. But she belongs to Pakistan. She has done with her medical but now she has got an email from CIC that her case is transferred to London Visa Office. So I wanna ask why does this happen? Any idea?
