LAST FEW PAGES OF THIS THREAD WERE FULL OF C-R-A-P AND DISAPPOINTING.

Most of us FSW 2013 started way to Canada almost 1 year back & have been guiding & helping each other. The spirit of this forum should be maintained with respect for all. Most of us don't know each other, we should avoid bullying & pulling some one legs.

It was Tuesday & was hoping that pages would be gulped with some good news/updates/information, but unfortunately last few pages were disappointing & wasted. LVO also disappointed us today :) :) I am never bothered of congrats/wishes messages as such gesture is natural as we are started all togather, some ahead of us & some with us. but have a look into last few pages........................Whats wrong with you guys ????? PLEASE DONT BE OFFENDED & TAKE MY CRITIC IN POSITIVE WAY.

Agree with you, at least 300 pages of the forum are full with C-R-A-P ...

Hello forumites...
I'm just puzzled.. When actually is background checks done...during eligibility at the VO or after medicals. Again is schedule A form for background checks or security checks. Suggestions and opinions welcome. Thank you all...cheers

No one can answer this question... Even they have asked it from applicants who are done with medical in JAN/FEB... For example they randomly asked for Schedule A in MAY along with RPRF from applicants who did MR in January....we know around 9-10 people who got MR in JAN. And In MAY they asked this FORM from 4-5 people and did not ask from remaining and till now no one got PPR. Some got request for this Schedule A and tgen tgey got PPR after 25~30 days... It is almost impossible to predict any work pattern from LVO...only wait is the answer to every question for being under LVO...

"I have submitted the documents that you asked for. Why haven't I heard from you yet"?

"Due to the large amount of documents received at our office, it may take 4 months or more for incoming documents to be reviewed and for the next step to be taken in your immigration application. Please do not contact the office for at least 120 days after you have submitted new information as repeated letters and e-mails only slow the process".

Whether the update given by LVO helps or not, I feel u have to still make enquiry.

Right hila01.......It seems that is is always better to submit documents through email (if you can), and then if someone like, he can submit hard copies as well.

Let me try to clear the confusion; here are the steps (Courtesy by MM2):

Step 1: Eligibility (If cleared, interview waived)
Step 2: VO ask for "Updated doc for SC" OR directly sent "MR" (If VO sents MR then after MR, they start Security Checks (SC) )

Step 3: Background check:
a) Standard Doc Checks (Docs, employment)
b) Criminality Checks (PCCs)
c) Security Checks (FBI, CSIS, etc)

Step 4: Medicals MR + RPRF
Step 5: Passport request

Guys avoid the crap :P and keep the crap to inbox :-*

Guys who have not heard anything, are seriously reading every post to get any valuable information.

Take it easy folks, and have fun 8)

We have to pin the former list somewhere in the forum!! despite the fact that every VO has his/her way of doing things, there have to be a "norm" in the sequence of events ;)

could you plz add average durations for each step ?

Step 4: Medicals MR + RPRF
Step 5: Passport request

Hey everyone!

I have medicals next week and was wondering, how the next step works? Average times etc....??

Keep smiling everyone xx
