Also they mention that the stamping will be in Abu Dahabi. Actually i received a 4 page document. Will update shortly as I am going through it right now.

It seems you are currently residing in Qatar.

If that is the case then how are you instructed to get your PP stamped from Abu Dhabi, Are you required to courier or personally submit your PP at Abu Dhabi?

Strange, it seems like PPR1 which is normally for Pakistan nationals.
But why they would ask for PP copies at this stage, what ever the case is it's a good sign. Soon you will have PPR.

Maybe they are reconfirming that passports are same which was sent earlier with the App (copies). Many have due dates for the renewals, some may loose it in between and have issued new one. So I guess it's just to cut the frustration at the Visa Office level to confirm that applicants are going to send the same passport for stamping. Just a guess though.

It looks a strange thing, might be s special case, not a process change because IBASCO and AHMED79 sent their passports to LVO...
